Gaiety is definitely a must-have for me. I'm dying to see swatches of mexican rose. Is it a velvet matt or a velvet gloss??

Looks pretty! I can't wait to see more swatches, and since Nars doesn't sell out as crazy as MAC it'll be easier to get my goodies hassle free!

Oh wow... This is shaping up to be my favourite Spring collection. I love all the shadows. Can't wait to see swatches of the lip products.

Think those shadows are calling me!!! and the blush swatched reminds me too much of one i got with jeanius..pink cult? cant wait to see more pics!

I got to swatch the collection a few months ago and it's lovely! My only critique is that the duo is so so similar to Star Sailor. But otherwise, I'm really excited about everything!

that;s exactly what i was worried about....i asked about the similarities between Star Sailor and the new duo a few posts up...i guess the duo's an easy skip for me then

It looks like the collection will be available in the mid-Jan, not on Feb 1st, cuz I just found out the launch date at NARS EU website.

and I also found out the launch date here too. It said "in the mid-Jan" too!!!

It has been my experience that the Nordstrom website does not launch as early as the NARS site does.

Hm... I actually don't have Star Sailor, so now I'm wondering if I should get that or wait for this one... Hmm... Did you have a preference between the two?

The spring collection will be available online in Europe (NARS websites) on January 13th. :)
Release dates are international, so logically it should be january 13th on the US website too.

Edit: Date confirmed on FB for the US website. :)

I don't think so.
Usually, new and/or LE lines are released a few weeks after the seasonal collections on NARS websites. ;) Unless the new line of products is released exclusively on sephora.com first, in which case non-Americans would have to wait a long while before it becomes available on their local NARS websites.

Karen from MBB just posted swatches. Man, I was planning to completely ignore this launch, but Paramibo and Lhasa are tempting me!

Lhasa seems to pull warmer on her skin than taupes like Satin Taupe and Fauve, which is a good thing. Paramaribo has a greenish cast to it that I haven't seen elsewhere, but I'd be interested to see if there were any dupes.

Thanks for the link! I was not planning to skip the launch and the swatches pretty much confirm that I'm not going to be able to get out of this one cheaply. My only mold disappointment was that I was hoping Paramaribo was going to be greener than it is, but I'll wait to see it in person- I find that because of the difference in our skin tone, products often look more golden on Karen than they do on me. Valparaiso is beautiful!
