Hhuumm look what I just found... (Seriously, I spend way too much time researching this...)


A look at what I assume are Douce France Trio eyeshadow, Lhasa single eyeshadow, Bilbao Lipstick, Valparaiso Pure matte lipstick, and Pure Radiance Tinted moisturzer (ie all the spring 2012 products used at the Mandy Coon show.)

I'm pretty sure this is Gaiety blush. These are the products that were used at the 3.1 phillip lim show, and they used Gaiety on the lips. It looks matte, but it's hard to tell because the lid of the blush is blocking the light from possibly showing sparkle or glitter.

as much as I love NARS.. I hope the new blush is not like Angelika , full of sparkles.. the matte ls from NARS are winners imo.. this one looks like Carthage with an edge.. yumm

I'm pretty sure this is a matte blush. I didn't want to say that it is matte, because frankly I don't know. But it certainly doesn't look sparkly or glittery. The models' lips were not glittery.

By the way, I also found via google cache a pretty good picture of Lhasa Single eyeshadow. But the blog post has been removed by the author. I don't know the reason why, so I won't post the picture here because I don't want them to be in any trouble (if they removed the post upon request for example). I f you want to see it, send me a mp.

Hey, off topic but is anyone talking about the "new" Nars concealers? I just bought one today in Amande and I think it's pretty fantastic so far.

Do you like this better than MUFE lift concealer? Do you find more coverage and not sinking into lines?

Actually, I used the lift concealer waaay back in the day but that was when I had no idea what I was doing. So, I can't give you an accurate answer. I use the Full Cover and HD concealers. I love Full Cover most. I use it on the blemishes on my face. I think the Nars concealer might be a tad bit easier to blend out than Full Cover. I don't use concealer under my eyes b/c everything settles into the lines. I only use YSL's Touche Eclat there. I might try Nars under my eye, though.

p.s. I have also used the lift concealer and find it does better if I use a silicone primer underneath (Clarins or YSL touche matte).

i know it's off topic but have you tried Lancome Maquicomplet? Everything settles in my lines too, but this one does not i really like it. it has medium coverage, and it looks very natural.

I love NARS lipsticks, so Bilbao is likely a must have for me. I was really interested in trying the tinted moisturizer but it contains SPF and I'm allergic to chemical sunscreen.

Well I hope that the blush is different enough from desire to own both, because seriously why buy a blush that is only one shade off...you can easily manipulate whether you want it lighter or darker with your blush application.
