MAC - Naturally Discussion

Did anybody else noticed that the new versions of Redhead and Blonde are much smoother than the older versions. This makes me very happy as it means that MAC is using the new formula on repromotes - this time for the better.

I played with my Stereo Rose and disliked the metallic-ness of it so I decided to skip Redhead because I read it was kinda metallic. Mac-Guy, please dont make me want Redhead!

I got a bu of A perfect Day, still wondering about Beach Sand! in Christine's swatches, her lips are less pigmnted and less purple/pink than mine.
Has anyone with pigmented lips bought Beach Sand?

I do too, plus I find it looks better filling more of the cheek area up to under the eyes, rather than just a swipe lower down, then a little extra for pop right on the apples. It's definitely a colored bronzer effect - so cute!

I do like the color very much!

I liked the color of Pillow Talk, too. It looked classy and sophisticated on me. I'm still debating if I should get it or not. One thing I can tell is it's not the color I normally wear. I'm not a sophisticated type.

Sorry to enable, but I went and swatched Redhead IRL and it did not have the metallic fish scale look. I had to get one, it was gorgeous and not super disco ball effect or metallic at all. I love it more than By Candlelight, and that is saying a lot. I don't know if the upgraded (new) version is just more finely milled, or I got one with less glitttery mess, but it was an improvement over the one I swapped away. I would vote to grab a Redhead MSF if you are on the fence before they are gone. I am a female of a certain age (ahem!) and I think you can werk it with the Redhead MSF, even if you are cool toned or worried about glitterbombness, fish scaleness, or discoballness. So glad I listened to the lovely posters here and checked it out before it was gone.

I have pigmented lips and bought Beach Sand, but I am awaiting shipping, so I can't help you there. I can't do lipstick testers, too germaphobic (in addition to glitter phobias!)

I skipped Blonde MSF because I did not love it MORE than Porcelain pink. If I had money burning my pocket, I'd go to Nordies and back that one up instead. Just sayin'

It's not here yet but I always get anxious to get the MSFs as they have just a few or they hide them (like Lightscapade that told me they never recieved the very first moment the store got the collection but at the end they found one).

I skip all the MES, nothing special to me

I'm getting
Perfect Day l/s and Pillow Talk l/s
Both the MSFs (although I am not sure about Blonde, I rarely wear pinks and I also have Porcelain Pink, but I know I'll get it,too)
All the MBs

Is Subtle Breeze similar to Giggly MB from the QC?

If I can only get a couple of items from this collection what should I get?

Pick a blush or two!!!!!!!!! 100% the best product in the collection. I don't have a favorite because they're all great - I'd call these the best Mineralize Blushes MAC's come out with yet!

If you can try them on in person, get a lipstick if it happens to be the perfect nude for you (none of them were for me personally but some of the gals here who've posted photos look spectacular). Otherwise, try a MES (you're going to like at least one of them if you wear eye shadow.) or another blush!!

Yep, I love these blushes.......

Thanks! I'm thinking about getting Redhead MSF, Blonde MSF, Sweet Sunrise Lipstick, and the Circa Plum pigment from DG. I will probably get Subtle Breeze, too! Which other blush should I get from this collection?

Even though I already got Sweet Sunrise, Beach Sand, A Perfect Day, and Redhead, I still find myself wanting more from this collection!

I plan on picking up:

2 BU of Sweet Sunrise l/s (my favorite nude out of the Naturally l/s- it's like Fleshpot but in a creamier formula)
Blonde MSF
Fresh Honey MB
Cloudy Afternoon MES (I am still torn on which shadow I want!)

That's the danger of buying it piece by piece. You usually go back for more and probably spend more than if you'd had made a bigger purchase right from the start. :)

Hi, I haven't been able to make it to the store to see this collection in person, so can anyone suggest items that I shouldn't pass up? I am fair with cool undertones, around nw15-20... I can't tell if I should get A perfect day or sweet sunrise, redhead or blonde msf... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Yeah.... *ahem* Glitter & Ice !!

I made like 10 orders. My first was around $200 but I know I spent several hundred.
Keeping myself in check now.
