Now I am thinking about getting blonde MSF. I already have it from the previous release, but I have not used it much. I love the color, but the texture turned me off. Now that it is supposed to be smoother & a better texture than before, I am thinking about getting it.

I thought that I had purchased everything that I needed/wanted from this collection. Now the remaining products are starting to haunt me....

Got blonde and redhead....blonde was a repurchase as I foolishly swapped my first one away from BBR. However, I agree with MACGuy that they must be using the new formulation. Loving redhead more than blonde. I passed on MES, and the blushes. Tried perfect day lipstick and it ended up looking silly on me :(

I just got home from work and wanted to post a couple of pics of my makeup. I used a combo of products from this collection as well as from Iris. The orange shadow is from Prestige, and it's called Peach Whip. I've got Early Bird in the creases as well as Diamond Dove in the outter creases. Early Morning MB on the cheeks and Too Chic BP with A Perfect Day on the lips. (Ignore the hair, it's in dire need of washing. >___<)

Omg APD looks so good on you! I think this is my favorite look of yours (I've only seen a few though)!

AFM- I got EM and whoever described it at MAC as "peachy pink" was on crack. I'm going to try it out for a week and see if I can work it on my pale skin. I also got APD and I'm loving it.

LOL so true....I detect no peach whatsoever and it turns out almost reddy pink on my skin!

OMG, I love the blush and the lippy. You are rockin it! I like the diamond dove in the crease too, can't wait to get my package and play soon. (I am expecting stuff from Naturally, IA and DG in the package!, it will be Christmas Redux)

I'm pale too but EM works just fine on me. The trick that does it for me is I apply it very lightly high up on my cheeks, more like I'd apply a bronzer (with a 188). Then I'll add a little dab extra at the apples for more intense color and dust whatever's left over the bridge of my nose. Then give the whole thing a light blend back to the ear with the angled split fiber kabuki from Semi-Precious. Instant healthy look. It's kind of like My Paradise (only even better texture), with that sheer but pigmented effect.

Can anyone tell me which lipstick would be slightly darker than A Perfect Day? APD was just too light for me but I'd love to find one a shade darker.

Thanks for your help.

ladyarwen, A Perfect Day makes you look sophisticated. Gorgeous!

Thank you for the tip, liba! That's how I wear pigmented blushes.

I find "Hug Me" to be a step in the right direction, much more wearable.

'So used to you in bright lipsticks, that I've got to comment on how great you look in APD! That nude suits you so well and makes you look so sophisticated and chic. Wear this often - one of my favorite looks you've shown! I'm pale too but EM works just fine on me. Thanks for the compliments everyone! I'm also used to wearing brighter lipsticks and glosses, so my toned down lippies don't get a lot of wear from me. I do really like APD though.

I got redhead today and loved it on!....Blonde looked just like my regular skin because I have naturally flushing pink cheeks...the mua was awesome and she was honest and said it didn't do anything for me....So i skipped...Although it's really nice and similar to Porcelain pink without the chunky glitter...I hope I don't regret this!

Lou, you should get Redhead, you are about the same complexion as me and you will love it!
i already have it sweetie and it's freaking awesome on me... i'm so modest :p it's the msf that created my love for msf's in general because it really adds a fabulous glow and sheen to my cheeks!

sooo which mes are worth buying - twilight falls for sure but i quite fancy getting two. :)

I made my second Naturally haul today and got the rest of the items that caught my eye

:

Blonde- I wore Redhead today and fell in love with it, so naturally I gravitated to it's cooler-toned sister, Blonde.

Fresh Honey- Although I debated getting this for a while, I am so glad I went for it. I think it will be particularly useful in the Spring and Summer!

2 Sweet Sunrise BU- Perfect pale pinky nude.

Cloudy Afternoon- Swatches as a beautiful light silvery taupe color, plus it looks amazing in the pan!

I actually passed on Twilight Falls because it looked like a bruise to me when swatched. I would say definitely get Cloudy Afternoon, especially if you are cooler toned. It's the perfect taupe for cool pale skin!
