Even though I was not going to buy even one more thing this month, now I'm perversely congratulating myself for self-control, because when the representative asked, "How many of those do you want?" I meekly replied, "One."

Yeah it's sold out online but I'd imagine we'd be able to find it still in stores as well. Especially seeing as it was also released with the Tour de Fabulous collection. I think Macy's still has it on their site under the TdF collection.

Since I'm disabled, and have to do all of my MACing (a verb is born!) from home, I was thrilled to be able to just pick up the phone and order one at retail (not even any tax), shipped free (had a bit of a time convincing the rep that there was a free ship offer still valid).
Just for grins, I looked at the Nordstrom site just now, and they're not listing Embrace Me.
Amazon has it, but for $27.00, and I imagine eBay prices are up, too.
Now I'm very close to regretting that I only got one ... :/

Thanks, but I'm going to try to hold on to my little remaining rationality, and just enjoy my one.
After all, I have never even come close to completely using up a MAC pencil.

I completely agree, though I seem to be the lone person on the continent who skipped the nude lips thing. Tried it, but it looked wretched on me!
It's great to have more bright choices!

I tried a look today using Silver Gull and Howzat e/s today and I am loving these. The lipsticks are stealing all the attention but these were really pretty for me. I tied it all together using Moleskin from MAC Me Over and a little Naked pigment to blend everything out. Really nice, soft, smoky blue-grey eye today.

Not weird at all! I feel the same about PParrot. I'm forcing myself to keep it & learn to love it in all it's "neon-ness" for the same reason!

You lost me on the "blue" part, which is good, because so far I've been successful in convincing myself that I do NOT want Howzat.

It is definitely a blue based grey. I have to admit it isn't really that different in hue from Scene but the texture is TDF

I'm glad you told me that Howzat is a blue-based grey, because otherwise, this description of its texture might have revived the lemming.
I need to give my Hocus Pocus more attention, because, aside from being almost "too dark" for me, it's really my perfect grey crease shade.
AND it's paid for!

UPS just delivered my Apfel lippies!

Flamingo, Pink Pigeon, and Party Parrot. I can't wait to try these on my lips. Let me also say that by looking at the swatches on my hand, Pink Pigeon and Wet N Wild's new Megalast lippie in #966 Don't Blink Pink looks an awful lot alike. At least the swatches do imo. I'll have to try them on my actual lips to get a better comparison. I even looked at them in the sunlight to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. Although they're both supposed to be mattes, there could be a difference in the textures on the actual lips.

I cannot believe I can get a drugstore dupe for Pink Pigeon. That is awesome.
