I really don't know if I will get anything from this collection. This is one I need to wait to see in person. I love the Kissable Lip Colours I got from Peacocky, so I might get some.

This is the biggest problem I've had with quads. Since I depot everything I've swapped away quad colors I didn't care for, but that kinda removes the value of quads IMO. It's still a gripe for me. :/
Of course, by this logic I've also passed on quads I've seriously regretted not picking up. I'm looking at YOU, Leopard Luxe. >_>

I'm right there with you. I actually stayed away from Iris Aspel because I was thinking it'd be too much for me (shade-wise)... and Glitter and Ice was BEAUTIFUL-- but I'm trying to tone it down on the glitter and shimmer tbh!
With S3/C3, I'm thinking of going crazy ;D
Actually, probably not so much-- my tentative list (as long as the swatches look good + my tax refund comes on time ;D ):
Call Me Bubbles quad
It's got some shimmer, ya, but when I finally get my hands on a Naked 2 palette, it'd be fun to use the two in conjunction with one another. Plus Fresh Daily is close enough to Tangerine Tango (Pantone color of 2012) that I'd be using this color all year long for sure. I also don't have anything like Brash Frosty or Full of Flavour in my collection!
Watch Me Simmer lipstick
I have nothing like this in my collection and I think it's a nice toned down coral/orange-yyyy thing less so than some of the ones in Iris Apsel which I need. I love me some bright lips but my collection is lacking practicality!
As for other lippies, gotta see the swatches for sure :O

(Hahaaa- I'm sensing a theme here!) Nothing like this in my collection and it just screams spring and summer to me! I think I'll probably have to have a really light hand on this blush but I'm really looking forward to playing with this! I also love using my blushes as e/s and I think this is so vibrant and yummy!
As for the rest, including the kissable lipcolour and the tendertone lip balms... well, I'd really have to see them in person over/under the lipsticks. The fluidlines... I'm trying other products so I'm not sold on the MAC ones right now. And the nail polishes----: I'm such an OPI loyalist that I can't even dream of using these. OPI has their Holland collection coming out the same week S3/C3 comes out so I'm way more stocked on those ;D

Ok, so I'm a red lipstick addict and thinking maybe I need Runway Red. But the problem is that i have sooooo many red lipsticks! Based on what I see it's a blue toned red so I won't list my warm reds, but these are some of my red lipsticks on top of my head, is Runway Red similar to any of these?

I, too, have quite a few MAC red lipsticks, including Runaway Red, and, in all honesty, I have to say that I think Runaway Red is special.
In color, it's a bit like Russian Red, but the Satin finish of Runaway Red makes it much more wearable than Russian Red, IMO.

I've always asked mua's to just have fun and do whatever they want with me and they always seem to get stressed out by it. I don't get it. When I worked at a counter I loved just having fun with someone's face.

I had a chat with the manager of my usual MAC Boutique (AKA Cheers) and she'd gone to the training for this collection. Recommended that Naughty Saute, Watch Me Simmer and Quick Sizzle would look great on me. I'm definitely picking up Watch Me Simmer. Quick Sizzle I'm passing over because it's a matte and I have plenty from Iris Apfel. Quick Sizzle I need to swatch as Creamsheens and I do not hang. She also recommended Florida and Optomistic Orange too. As I missed the MAC in Lillyland collection I need these in my life.
Surprisingly enough I"m not backing up Flaunting It. I can get a nice color hack from using Up The Amp over Plum lipliner instead.
Can't wait for my 'appointment' on the 9th!

The only thing from this collection that's really ringing my bell (pending swatches) is the mauve fluidline and maybe the liner brush (I don't have a good one).
I don't do bright lips and I've got dupes for most of the shadows in the quads.
I'm thinking of pretty much skipping this and going back and picking up 3 of the MES from the Naturally collection instead. I got 2 blushes and both MSFs from that one, but had skipped the eyeshadows to save money for some of these coming collections.

I've had the same experience. I usually make a point of telling them that I have adventurous tastes, so they can feel free to do just about anything and I'm not going to be angry. But I'm surprised at how many artists seem to find that stressful. It's really not my intention. Maybe other people have given them a hard time after saying something like that is all I can think. (And I should add that I'm not just talking about Mac people here- I've had the same reaction at a number of makeup counters.)
