MAC - Naturally Discussion

If you have Rare Find MES from Semi-precious, it pairs well with Daylight MES from Naturally. I am wearing that combo today and I have to say, Daylight is my favorite MES ever. (I am NC20 with blue eyes and dark brown hair with burgundy/red undertones.) Daylight is my favorite purple e/s ever, and that is saying A LOT.

Early Morning is up on the US MAC site (at least as of last night it was) for those still searching for it!!!

I was tempted to purchase it but the price went up! Two weeks ago I paid $22 for Subtle Breeze. Early Morning (as well as the other mineralized blushes) were listed as $23.50. Not much of a price difference, but I was iffy on Early Morning looking too terracotta on my skin...when I checked it out in store the MUA didn't want to put it on me because he felt it would be too dark. Fresh Honey looked like a bruise on me. I guess I should lock my inner-lemming away because me and EM just weren't meant to be! Lol. Subtle Breeze on the other hand is fabulous! Once it's buffed on my cheeks it gives me a very healthy and natural glow

My daylight has a lot more of the pink veining, so it's a really pretty pink with a sort of lavender sheen. Love it!

I noticed the price too!
I really don't think EM is worth is on really fair skin. I have a hard time working it.

The price of a lot of products increased. MB's are now 23.50. MSF are now 29.

the mineral products from mac are very pricey imo... they went up in the uk too a year ago and that is why i limite myself on which mes i buy... msfs however i buy no matter what the price because i love them all so much!

I did a look today using Fresh Honey and Daylight. On my eyes i have Daylight with mascara. For cheeks i only needed the smallest amount of Fresh Honey, but it is gorgeous. Mac-Guy suggested somewhere that Play it Proper is a nice highlight together with FH and it is! I contoured with Strada and used Shy Girl l/s on my lips. I really like the combination of all these and i'm so happy that both FH and EM are working out for me!

I did Fresh Honey blush today for the first time also! I love this blush!!!!! I wanted the color to be slightly more muted, so I layered it with a tiny smidge of Tenderling to add brown. I really loved the results. The texture of this MB is divine! I paired it with Twilight Falls (my first time to use it as well)

Pale girls you have no fear of Fresh Honey, it sheers out beautifully! I topped it with How Beautiful highlighter. BF loved, loved, loved it, could not stop gushing. He is usually focused on how he likes the eye make up because honestly this is my focus too, but he loved the face paint today

For Twilight falls, I used Sublime Nature paint as a base, then Soft Force e/s in the brows/tearducts, Diamond Dove in the V, Twilight Falls all over lid and blended out with Outre.

I have blue/grey eyes and i really like Daylight. I think it's the most unique mes of this collection.

I'd pick a Daylight with a strong peachy base, which will make your blue eyes stand out!

I wore today Daylight with TF and Fresh Honey (with Redhead MSF) for the first time, too! I finally got my stuff yesterday (all the mineralize items except for Redhead which I already had). I'm loving FH! Can't wait to play with the others tomorrow!
