Hahahaha Lips & Tips .. MAC sure does have a sense of humor.

I would love it if they did those paint wraps (like sally hansen and incoco) .. I would try that!
But fake nails....... probably not.

HerGreyness refers to a blush called "Strawberry" in post #578 of this thread. Does anyone have any idea which collection this will come out with?? I thought it would be in Tres Chic...

No info, but Strawberry sounds like a blush that pink lovers will be excited for

Who is exited about the fake nails?
I would have been more excited last year. It's a trend that's been around for a couple of years already and honestly I'm started to veer back away from complicated painted nail art.

What I like the most now are new, interesting textures on the nails, in quiet colors that emphasize 3-dimensionality. I WOULD be seriously all over some amazing fake claw nails for winter, though - the really long, sharply pointed cat claw types - I'd do a manicure for a big night with those for sure. It'd be way more convenient than getting acrylics or gels done that way, considering most salons couldn't handle doing the perfectionist job that'd need to be done if it was being done from scratch, plus less of a commitment to being stuck with growing out acrylics.

I'm right there with you liba. What a gorgeous color. Looks like a deep wine shade. I can't wait to find out more about the A/W 2012 collections & we haven't even gotten through the S/S 2012 collections yet. Oy!

I know that some people actually like MAC nail polishes, but I really wish they'd get out of the nail polish business. With brands like Zoya, OPI and China Glaze, to name a few, MAC's polishes pale in comparison to me. For every polish I've ever seen by MAC, someone else makes something way dupeable and even better.

Looks like we'll be getting new permanent nail polishes

Also "some of our most beloved lip colors that will soon be available in polish form."

Tx again Rockin! I want that lip palette. Anything with purples catches my eyes & heart.

I believe the one with the purples is a lip palette

It's the Spring Trend Palette. No need to wait until the Fall. It's been out for almost 2 months now.

They actually tweeted "Say hello to our Fall Pro Palettes." Odd they should say that if they're already out

I just rechecked. My old eye aren't so old. Thank goodness since I'm really not "old". It does say F/W 2012. Also, Louder Lilac isn't shown in this palette. It's mainly deeper/richer colors compared to the Spring palette with the softer colors.

Seriously, the only difference I see is the earthy red instead of preferred pink. All the other colors look very similar - though more muted - than the Spring trend palette.
