I'm definitely picking this up when I get paid! I'm a little intimidated by the yellow, but I think I can make it work for me. I've loved all my purchases so far too. The only things I completely skipped were the Kissables and the cheek products.

the yellow turns out very light on my skintone. i tried it in the inner corner of my eye today, but i don't think it was really living up to its potential there...will be playing around with it a bit in the next few days i guess.

i skipped the cheek products as well, and the fluidlines, though i will probably pass by a mac later this week to check out vg nikki, so maybe i'll give them another glance. (assuming they are still around!)

i like that the last few collections are breaking me out of my comfort zone, and i am starting to feel less self conscious about wearing bold lips or cheeks out of the house!!

If you use a white base like NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in "Milk" it really makes the yellow (or any color) pop and shows as being true-to-color. It's a great tool to use on top of an eyeshadow base and pretty cheap, too! :)

I'm breaking out of my comfort zone too! I've gotten used to wearing bright pink lips (though wearing them in public has convinced me to use a lipliner underneath to prevent bleeding) but colored eyes that aren't light green or light purple are new territory for me! I do think I'll try duckrodeo's suggestion to use Milk as I'm pretty sure I still have it around here somewhere. VG Nicki is great on me even though I was wary of it. I do wear it over exfoliated lips and a tendertone, and that makes it slightly less neon! I have very light skin so I'll see how the yellow is with just a normal base first. Some colors show up very pigmented on my skin and others show up very light.

^Get all four lol

I really should. Maybe Bloomingdale's still has them in stock? I have Hush Hush but I'm very tempted to get all the others. Usually with a new product I use it for a week and put it away for a while, but I've used Hush Hush every day since I got it. I was going to skip Hot and Saucy since sheer red is an easily duped color, but it would be good for light makeup days.

i was pretty worried about wms when i bought it, because it's so bright on me, but then my mom noted it looks nice...(as opposed to jarring, which was what i was worried about).
it kind of gives me hope for vg nicki. but i keep flipping back and forth as to whether i actually 'need' another super bright lipstick...but at the same time i'm kinda worried about rehashing the skipper's remorse which i am still feeling over vg cyndi!!

That's my concern for when I get WMS too, but I'm hoping for the best! I know what you mean about skipper's remorse, Candy Yum Yum still haunts me. Nicki is a beautiful shade so I would definitely check it out in person. If I wear it over lip balm, it's not too bright on me and can be toned down with lipliner too. I do love Cyndi and I wish they would release it again so I could get a back up!

toatlly agree. I've tried it mixed with my lip conditioner to sheer it down. Makes me think VG Ricky is there to tone this lipstick down and make it "universally flattering" 'cause on its own, it's far from it.

That's probably what Ricky is for. I've tried it without lip balm, and it is definitely neon! Of course, being a satin it shows all of my imperfections so there's no way I could get away with wearing it without a balm at all.

Okay Team Refresh, I have a weird feeling we are gonna see a restock today. This is not inside info, just a sneaky feeling. I will stalk and snitch if I see new stock...

Hush Hush and Purring have been used the most since I got them. Hot 'n' Saucy is awesome and I love that it's a sheer red and it would be great to use with Runaway Red. Bloomingdale's website no longer has the collection up.

That's a shame that they aren't on Bloomingdales. When the restock happens, I'm going to have to narrow my "most wants" down to 3 between WMS, Naughty Saute, Purring, Tread Gently, and Hot 'n' Saucy. Any thoughts? I definitely love the idea of a sheer red to use over Runaway Red...

I have that feeling too! I'm going to keep a tab for Specktra and a tab for MAC open just in case. I need one last haul before my money starts to go towards my wedding dress/decorations/every other cost.
