that doesnt really have anything to do with the tendertones though... that would have to do with dipping dirty fingers in the pot and on your lips. That would be crazy if you got herpes virus from touching your lips with your fingers. Herpes virus is usually contracted skin to skin contact. Not saying it cant happen though! hopefully its not that and its just a one time thing.

L-R: Hypnotizing, Tendersmoke, Winterized
To me, they do not look the same. They do cast a similar "look" I guess. Both Hypnotizing and Tendersmoke are Frosts. Hypnotizing seems more reflective and more pink than Tendersmoke. Winterized is darker and more purple to my eye. HTH

Tried Dish It Up today for the first time. I cannot believe how gorgeous it is. I was expecting it to be similar to Plumful but it is definitely more purple.
I was a bit nervous so I just patted it on with my finger, which looked lovely, but it looked to good I piled it on. Beautiful.

So I went to go check out the Chen Man stuff and for shizzles and giggles I clicked on the S3/C3 lippies and saw DIU was back in stock but nothing else. So I sez to meself, oh noes, did I miss the restock? Then I came here and
I am sure folks in corporate MAC are LMFAOing. I was going to buy some chen man lippies and maybe score another quad but I am sort of angry right now. Yes, I understand the rationale of doing what they did. They want us to keep checking the site and maybe buying some more product while we are waiting for the restock that is "coming soon" and yeah, 2 weeks is NOT coming soon. This was such a tease.
Well, I am sure all the evil ebay vultures snagged the majority of that restock. I am not going to pay evil ebay mark up and I am not gonna stalk the site ever again. MAC has gotten all secretive and not wanting to give bloggers product so they don't lose sales, well HELLO, they just lost a TON of potential sales. What they should have done is flooded the market so all the ebay h00rs would have a bunch of marked up product they could not unload. But, who gets nailed in this scheme, the nickle and dimers who buy one or two products but faithfully watch each collection and just want to collect.
IDK. Maybe I should be glad there isn't a glut of product and I have what I have. But I am not knocking myself out anymore. I will get what I decide ahead of time and not stalk the site and reward them by purchasing extra product. I was going to buy another quad when they restocked, now, I don't think so. I will wait for it to to go to the CCO and get it at a discount. So angry at this little ploy of theirs right now. And then they wonder why we all try and figure out dupes. THIS is WHY. From now on, I am planning on skipping hard to find MAC colors if I can get dupes. They don't want to stock enough product, I will find a company that does want to make the sale.

I realized that there are so many wonderful products in MAC's permanent line that I overlook due to the over-hype and limited quantities of all these new collections! So, from now on, I'll make my list and get what I can when collections release and if I can't then so be it.... I'll just treat myself to permanent products I've put on the back burner.

oh yeah port red was beautiful as what I remembered ,I missed it but remember my cousin having show me it months later when it was released. I hope it will be released again. Hmm..maybe we should all make complaints on short limited items on that survey they ask you to make on the live chat. I did,it ask questions about limited quantities,customer service,items,etc and I wrote they need to restock more and disapointed with this restock seemed very little . Never hurts to try,never know,it can make a difference.

I might have worded it wrong. I didnt mean it was the actual tendertone thats the prob. I was just saying to be careful not to use dirty fingers when putting it inside the pot because of germs. I remember the talk awhile back where Mac-guy warned of this. I just didnt pay enough attention when I was using it at work. I used to get cold sores all the time in my teens. This is the first time I've had on in a long time. The weather here in Colorado messes with my body. And I've also been stressing a lot lately.

Exactly. I don't know of any other cosmetic company that stocks so little, both in counters and online. I got my WMS today and I love it, but no way would I pay Ebay prices for it. I'm going to follow your policy and decide ahead of time, no site stalking.

Just use a lip brush and fill some brush cleanser in a travel spray bottle (or take an extra lip brush with you). It really takes just a few seconds to clean your brush after using it. It's well worth the hassle in comparison to dealing with a cold sore. I hope you heal soon. Good luck!

There are some wonderful perm products that are certainly worth checking out. Just because something is LE doesn't make it superior, though there is always the fear of missing out on a novelty. One good thing about the perpetual LE releases is that if you miss out on one product, another one will pop up soon.

Yay! I got my CA and CMB order today! They look so lovely, especially CMB. Tomorrow I'm going to wear CA with NS and some pink-ish blush.
Today I also made another order and managed to secure QS
along with some other stuff from Vera, Chen, Tour de Fab, and Too Supreme. YAY! Can't wait!
