Honestly, I've been ruined. I tried Chanel, and now I need it all. So glad there are these threads to 'help' me.
Anyway, really. I have colors that range the entirety of rainbow and beyond regarding eyeshadows. However, I will say that I have been going more towards 'earthy' tones lately. Browns, greens, and the occasional purple. As well as, of course, a good smokey eye! I'm a sucker for those.
I have lipstick colors all over the place, too. It all just depends on what mood strikes me. I can do redRED one day, and neutral the next.
Blush is where I have trouble. I cannot find a good blush or contour color anywhere, and it's my downfall when it comes to applying it. I'm at work, so I can't look at what I am in Chanel foundation, but I am NC20 in MAC. But my cheeks have a natural pink tint, so it feels like I am undoing what foundation covers when I put blush on. Also, my hair is dyed, but it is always some sort of red, or has red in it somewhere.
Wow, I am no help at all I guess. I love it all. I guess that makes me the best, or worst consumer to help out! Hehe.

For quads: I love Prelude -- a cool toned neutral quad, Dunes -- a warmer neutral quad, Mystic Eyes -- has a pretty silvery color and a gorgeous plum brown, Enigma is really pretty for smokey eyes
Blush -- Rose Ecrin is a great pink nude blush, Espiegle is a gorgeous peachy blush, Rose Petale is another pretty pink blush.
Lipsticks -- this one is hard because so many of my faves have been LE or discontinued. I love Belgravia from the Kensington collex, La Raffinee Velvet is a beautiful matte shade (they call it "rosewood), Enivree is a pretty warm pink, Confidentielle is a pretty peachy pink, Insolent is a bright pink. I have quite a few more faves, but they are no longer carried

Me too! I'm glad I only purchased one. My dry lips can't deal with them. I shall wait for Lancome's L'absolu lipsticks that are matte, if they every come to my counters.

hi ladies....this thread was dead so I thought I bring it back on top I got Chanel Romatic RA about 3 weeks ago. Not sure if this was an LE or perm item but it's a beautiful soft berry red and so perfect for this time of the year (winter going into spring). I've been very low maintenance with makeup lately and this lipstick is pretty much all I wear.
Does anyone else own Romantic?

^^ my counter had it though I'm in Canada and we're slow here in getting stuff/getting rid of stuff. If you can find it I def recommend it. One of those colours that looks great on everyone and just wakes up your face

^^ I don't have Flamboyante unfortunately so I couldn't compare. But from swatches I recall Flamboyante had coral undertones which Romantic definitely lacks. Romantic is neutral berry red, no warm or cool undertones. I would say a more subdued version of MAC Craving:
Tope to bottom: MAC All's Fair, Chanel Romantic and MAC Craving
I would say it will look great on everyone but especially on light skin with dark hair, it adds such a great rosy glow

Hiya ladies, thought I'd share with you:
I went shopping in our local Sephora today and discovered that 3 new Coco Shines and Rouge Coco's have come out!
I'm surprised that there wasn't any kind of announcement about them coming out, nor is much information available on them online, even though they were released on March 1st (in Europe).
Shame, because they are LOVELY! I literally had to drag myself away from the Chanel counter, because I already had 150 euro worth of make-up in my basket, but I will definitely be coming back for Efrontée and Magnolia.
This is really the best photos I could find. Now kinda wish I took some pics of the swatches with my phone:

s it just me, or do the shades resemble the Spring line lipcolours? not complaining, but surprised they would release such similar shades.

^I agree, and I think I expressed the same sentiment in the Summer 2012 thread. Even so, they seem to be slightly deeper versions of the Spring lip colors, which is fine by me as I almost always have the opposite problem with Chanel. At this point only Avant-Garde RC, Souiree RCS and Style RCS are tempting me.
