Wow. I thought that was a man in the video. The pink popcorn was fun! The whole video was kind of ackward to watch. She is really pretty in real life. Amazing what makeup can do!

I think herion is going to be the color of her coat and in that case I don't care that it is a matte its going to be too beautiful to pass up. Now I no longer want pink popcorn as it would be blah on me compared to herion.

This is why we love Mac!!!! I think the top blush is pink cult packed on as I could achieve that with mine and my skin is way way darker.... The lippie looks like the perm orange can't remember the name but either way I want and I have never splurged on a Mac n/p but I need that pink in my life Cool vid!!! She makes me feel better about my skin (pay attn to left of chin)

I hope we will see more of these promo videos like they did for GP and now for SR. I find those videos visually stimulating - much more than a regular promo pic. They are a piece of art showing that make up is not always about beauty and/or that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as history has shown us. For example, when we look - through our contemporary lens - at the plucked hairline of Queen Elizabeth I or Mona Lisa, we can certainly not relate, but yet, it was a look that was extremely fashionable and popular.

I'm elated that MAC throws some interesting videos at us from time to time. I take an element from it that I can apply in real life (bold lips, bold cheeks, etc...). I certainly do not want to see an office look promo pic/video from a company like Make Up Art Cosmetics.

I like how you highlighted ART Mac-Guy. I thought the video was interesting.

Exactly. When you look at the visuals and art produced at the MAC Pro-to-Pro events, it clearly shows that make up - especially at MAC - is much more than beauty. It's provocative, inspiring, sometimes even disturbing, everything that makes you reflect on it more deeply. I understand that art is not always pleasing to the eye, nor should it be. These promo videos are just a way to show a different side of make up, and it that sense, they do remarkable work. Make up has the power to transform one's face with little as a brow pencil or a lip color. Simply amazing!

Here is just an example of the Pro party. Beautiful and provoking artistry that seeks inspiration from other art form. It's just brilliant!

That video brings an array of reactions to me.

I LOVE the orange/pink contour- it is delightful.

The lipstick is also fun, and the nails with diff colors is a good touch too.

The hair is creative and fun to look at.

Other than that, they made that woman look like an aging hag with the foundation and other makeup. She looks about 68 years old. That could have been done so much better so that she didn't look old and haggard. As is often the case, MAC just doesn't get it when it comes to doing makeup on older people.

The idea was fun and interesting though. I thought it was pretty creative. :)

I found that video kind of disturbing... but then, i can't stand orange or clowns and this reminded me of creepy clowns i saw when i was little. To each their own.

I just found out that Sephora stores are supposed to be painting the black stripes in the store orange for a while for the new orange phenomenon and the pantone collaboration. If you don't like orange that will be a frustration too I am sure! The staff was not looking forward to it either. I am not sure if they will really go to that extreme in the stores or not, but it made me laugh considering how many people don't like orange.
