u should see my apartment in spain... lol. When i lived in minami-yono (tokyo) was bigger lol
If you've seen the size of an apartment in Tokio or Hong Kong, you probably know why any products that will save space are preferred. This is not to say that the Western world wouldn't want to use space economically, but there is less of a need.

Hey Mac-Guy, which blushes do you think would look best on a WOC from this collection? I am around an NC50 ( a little lighter). I know for sure that I am getting MM but your swatches got me thinking I can pull off a lot more lol. Do you think IM would be too light?

I'm probably not the best person to give advice on darker complexions, but I'd say that IM will show up well on darker skin. It is less vibrant than MM, but still pigmented enough without looking chalky. Do you have a chance to check out the collection in person?

From the looks of it, Peony Petal and Full of Joy are probably gonna come home to me. Immortal Flower looks gorgeous, but not sure if my skin will pull it off without looking like I dabbled in Cheeto dust, lol. Although, I was a bit surprised, I bought Optimistic Orange just for the hell of it and it's sooo super pretty. I love pairing it with Subtle Breeze to make a peachy coral color.

Ooh Optimistic Orange with Subtle Breeze! I never would have thought to pair these. I will give this a try. Thanks.

lately ive been combining blushes....darker on bottom and lighter top and then highlight....or a degrade of pink (apples) to peach on back.... so when i saw this collection it reminded me of the possibilities lol.... too bad being on team 6 might not be attainable

I also combine at least two, but usually the lighter one on the apples and the darker one from the hairline downward. It emphasizes the contour and gives dimension to the face. I will certainly follow this technique with the TC palette. Lots of these shades go together.

It depends on what you have already. If you had to pick two, I would go with one bright, and one muted. Pink cult or pink tea and lovecloud or peony petal. I think they all should work with red hair. I am also nc20 and when I had red hair it never stopped me from wearing any blush colors :)

I might be able to help you with that question. I'm NC50 and I swatched the blushes tonight. Mind you, I didn't blend these on purpose, otherwise it'd be more difficult than it already was to get these to show up well on camera

Full of Joy, Immortal Flower

Lovecloud, Modern Mandarin

Pink Tea

Peony Petal

In my opinion, FOJ, MM and PP stood out to me the most and would look fantastic on WOC. I didn't think I would like Modern Mandarin; in fact I had purposely left it off my list that I gave to my MUA a few weeks back. I sure changed my mind after I swatched it!

I've been reaching for OO a ton lately. I still have yet to work up the gumption to try Restores Dazzle. But lately I've been on a Coral lipstick kick, and a light dusting of OO and Subtle Breeze seems to do the trick.

Immortal Flower is looking more and more appealing to me.

The blushes are permanent in asia so that's why they also have pro-pans. I don't understand why they aren't perm everywere.
The names were geared towards an asian market from the sounds of it. So I do understand as there is a large asian Makeup market, MAC might want to edge in with all the Japanese and korean makeup.

I don't think the names have anything to do with it. But I agree, there is a large Asian market.

And it is certainly true that LE items sell extremely well in Europe or the US no matter of the quality - just the fact that it is LE will make an item sell. So, well done MAC, for making Tres Cheek LE, as it is bound to sell out within hours/days. The more we - the consumers - go crazy about LE collections, the more LE will be out there (including even smaller stock). We keep the ball rolling by lusting after limited items. But that's the fun part, isn't it? It makes those items more precious.

I was on Team 6 but have now narrowed down to just MM and FoJ. I bought some awesome Ben Nye blushes this week including an amazing purple but couldn't find anything close to FoJ or MM so they will come with me for sure.

Thank you so much! I think I will be getting MM like I originally intended to. I do not happen to like pinks so much; I think orange and peaches look much natural on WOC.
