MAC Early Buzz - news on products for 2012

I'm now to posting to this forum, but not so new to scrubbing for MAC collection info and swatches to see what I want to buy in advance from the posters here.


The Marilyn Monroe Collection for the fall has got me excited but because it's Marilyn as the collection muse. Plus my favorite collection come out in the early summer and fall for the most part. And consider how may Marilyn Monroe avatars are on here I don't think I'm alone in this.

Maybe the St Germain set will compel me to buy it! I haven't even tried it on. I'm slowly working into the permanent range lippies. I have a few and I just picked up Lustering yesterday!

I completely forgot about the hey sailor collection thinking I had a few months to recover with the last 3 being released in 1 hit!!!

I am interested to see the colour storys of what goodies we have coming our way

At least it's slated for the latter half of May. It's a good time to recoup and save up for it. I'm intrigued by the beauty powder. I like the stripey design. I might not buy into the nautical-striped clothing trend this season, but at least my MAC will be fashion forward! lol.

In Italy we'll probably have Reel Sexy, Tres Cheek and Hey Sailor in may (Hey sailor first of may too!!!)... I usually buy A LOT from summer collections so I guess I'll take only one thing from Reel Sexy and Tres Cheek ...

Has it been confirmed that TC will be released so late in Italy?

Tx for the link Naynadine! Such pretty stuff for the Summer. I usually skip the summer collections, but I do enjoy looking & reading about them. One never knows. I'm kind of interested in that orange lippie, but other than that, not too sure as of yet.

Update. Just checked out the website online. No Tres Cheek or Reel Sexy yet, but there is something called "Perennial Pink" up. I love pink, but... where the heck did this collection come from?

I'm super stoked about a new SH brush. I

SH brushes for traveling.

The highlight powder is less exciting though in comparison to the previous years. Stripes, as cute as they are, are still just stripes. Visually, it does not stand out as much as Marine Life or My Paradise.
