Those Tom Ford shadows DO look yummy. And who knows, maybe because I work at Mac now I will have more time to play with the BB Shadows and I can figure out how to use them.
But all in all i think the choice to bring them back is...interesting. Maybe MAC sold more than I thought they did? Hell, if they can bring back Metal X shadows, I shouldn't really be surprised they are bringing back the BB Shadows.
i hated them with a passion they were the worst product to me. i sold the hell out of metal x when it came out i actually really liked them

The Metal X's were very pretty but idk...something about them never sat right with me lol

For now, Im just gonna put away MAC's decision to bring back the BB Shadows under the "OH NO THEY DI'INT!" file in my desk and try not to get too flustered that they wanna bring those back instead of doing something I would like better...like make the By Request collection something more special and eventful.

Perhaps it's just me, but I want less LE and more permanent. I find that I'm suffering from LE-fatigue. I'd rather just get excited about trying out something that I'll have the opportunity to buy again in a couple of years. Maybe if Mac did semi-permanent seasonal collections, like there were certain shades that were only available at certain times of the year, but that stayed in rotation for a few years, or had colours that stayed around a while, the way that the Viva Glam shades do. It's possible I'm just getting old and grumpy.
You aren't the only one. I said something similiar a few collections ago. It is too much at once. Maybe we area both getting old and grumpy. =D

Thank you so much for sharing IyseD!

That sounds really very interssting.I hope that there will be some awesome colors!

Saw my SA today and she had just seen all the new collections.

She mentioned one that contains a product in a jar like Tendertones that can be used on lips, cheeks and eyes (to be released after Beth Ditto). . She also mentioned a 30 polish collection that was releasing in August.

She called Beth Ditto quite bold and said she loved Hey, Sailor! eyeshadow shades and that the red lipstick is beautiful.

Hopefully I can pass on BD. My wallet needs a break.

Ooohhhhh I am loving the sound on the multipurpose product. Could this be my beloved cheek jelly reincarnated for 2012 so that it is even more fabulous and could be used on the lips too?!? Any new brushes would be fab. I am a brush slut! Did hergreyness mention something about a flat top ages ago?

If they bring back BB then they must have made them formulated better or something! Maybe MAC is being weird and thinks "oh if we released them in different colors everyone will want them!" Until we hear any other news about it, I'm filing it there with you!

Does MAC really sell that much nail polish so that they're making a bold move like this? Interesting....

My question is: where will they put this collection in the store? All the f/s stores and counters seem to be packed with LE displays. LOL

For those who tried the BB (and hated them), did you play and experiment with them long enough? I found them great in combination with the MES.

i wish i could do that but since im product specialist its my job to get my team excited about those launches and make sure i get the highest sell though of those products. with it was very hard to sell them at my location we had so many returns with them.

When they are repromoted, I'd ask for a sample cup. They are liquid-y enough to be poured into a sample jar. I hope we see some new BB colors in gold or bronze for some exciting summer looks.

I don't doubt for a second there were a lot of returns.

Funny thing is though, I actually had a lady come into the store I work at and ask if we had any more of the BB shadows...you know how hard it was to not immediately make this face at her?:
