MAC Tres Cheek discussion

I just ordered Full Of Joy and Lovecloud, so I'm now officially Team 5! The only one I skipped was Peony Petal because those kind of colours just don't suit me very well. I really love the texture of the three I've tried so far. They're so smooth and blendable!

PP swatches much lighter than it looks in the pan, though you can definitely build it up. It has a very soft texture, so if you are Team 5, check it out at least.

Ohsojaded, me too! So glad I became team six, these blushes are wonderful and so pigmented. MACina, thank you! I really think MAC nailed it this time, these blushes will suit the majority of skins and are so soft to wear. My shirt is just a cheapie, but I liked the cute sleeves which blushes are your faves?

Lovecloud is indeed gorgeous! I ended up ordering MM and FOJ off your "cheek swatches" (sounds weird!), they looked really wearable on pale skin as long as they're blended nicely
I still can't believe how pigmented all these blushes are - just one tap of my brush and I've got plenty of colour!

They will definitely look great on you! I think the shade you achieve is easily varied, these blushes apply well but are easy to buff out. I just have peony petal and pink tea to try now

Good afternoon everyone. Long time lurker here needs advice! First of all I love all these great suggestions and combinations in the ED thread. I went unexpectedly nuts w/ this launch, figured b'day = what the he'll!! 1st time I got Superb, all the ES except for Dark Dare, Havana & the pink color, also got Pink Cult. The 2nd time around I panicked & felt incomplete that I didn't get dark dare after all the raves on it, as well as Glorify & WOG. I just got into highlighters in a major way...so my question is what do I need form Tres Cheek? Keeping in mind, that I have Buff, Pink Cult & a WW 'dupe' for Orgasm. I am a NC 20' but someone told me I'm actually warm. I have no idea if I am or not. I am fair skinned, lots of freckles, don't mind being pale at all & gravitate towards very bright LS (ie Ruby Woo :eyelove: score, especially since my favorite band leader Robert Smith from The Cure wears it :encore: hopefully a few of u will know who he is.) I just like playing around with make up & see what happens. But blush I am baffled about, but have totally been wanting a purple one (for no reason lately). Please help me..also I wear Medium Plus in the MSF. U guys crack me up but make my addiction so much worse...keep up the good work! K thanks in advance. Sorry for super long post.

If you're just starting with blush i think Lovecloud and Immortal Flower would be nice for your skin and Full of Joy if you really want a lavender blush. Pink Tea might be too close to Pink Cult with a smaller blush collection. Modern Mandarin is also pretty, but i would choose Immortal Flower over that one if you want a blush you can wear with more eyeshadow/lip combinations. Peony Petal is great is you like a cool barbie pink blush, but i think you can get more use out of Lovecloud.

Welcome!! I think the must have from this collection is definitely modern mandarin! Immortal flower should also show up beautifully on your skintone. Pinkcloud is beautiful also, Those are my top three from this collection, let us know what you end up getting!

If you are NC, then you have yellow undertones and are considered "warm."

Funny, I was thinking I want IF, LC & FOJ. But I all these crazy rave reviews about MM, make curious if it is something I might like. I tried Red Brick ES on my cheeks to see if I may like MM. Is that a good way to get feel for MM? Is IF a lighter version of MM? Thanks for the advice Nazih09. I can't figure out how to double quote on here so I apologize! I will let u all know what I got. It's funny whenever they put blush on me I feel so underwhelmed. I just got Pink Cult b/c I have a new favorite MUA @ the MAC Store here in ATL (Susan, u rock :encore & she's very up front with what works & what doesn't & she put on some PC on me & I figured what the heck. Thanks, i'm wearing Runaway Red.
I think Red Brick is more red than MM, but if you like a colour that bright on your cheeks you may like MM. IF is more peach than MM. You do not have a pink blush it looks like so that's why i recommend LC. I also think a soft peach blush like IF would be a great addition to your collection, since you do not have something like that either. Maybe you can get MM instead of FOJ. Ask your MUA if she can apply one on each cheek, so you can decide which on you like best. Good luck chosing

MAC GUY, thanks for the tip. I still don't understand why they gave me NC 20 studio fix powder I definitely have more pink undertones. Perhaps, I'm a mix of NC & NW? Now, I wear my medium plus MSF & love the texture & light coverage it gives me.

I am NC20 and love the look of FOJ on me!!!! It's really like a glow you don't need highlighters with these! it's just very beautiful with the smallest amount of blush needed for a really beautiful prominent result!
