I really love the packaging

Mac already had a Zandra Rhodes collection, I think it was in 2006, you guys were on the right track! There was an eye palette and some lip gloss in a pot that was swirled, I think i still have one.

saw it in person today. fell in love with the liner shadow duo pencils!!! they wear 8 hours and are water line safe. the colors are very nice!! there is a bright pink prolong wear lipstick that looks like candy yum yum in color but is more of a satin looking finish to it!!

I think I will grab lots of the lip pencils this time. I missed out with TdF and major skipper's remorse there.

Heh, don't feel shameful! I've been using Nightmoth for years with all my vampy lipsticks, although now the torch has been passed to Just My Type for the blacks and the cool purples and browns. Nightmoth is beautiful with Prince Noir and Runaway Red, btw.

Thanks for posting! Can you tell us a little about the mauve and purple lippies (and anything else swingin')?
Liba you are great!! I was looking for a lip pencil for Prince Noir and one for Runaway red... Nightmoth was on my list for Prince Noir but I'm happy I can use it with Runaway red too <3

Oh wow! Tx Ernie! Sooooo very pretty & colorful. This was way before I became such an addict for MAC. Are the swirls blush or like a lip balm? I also like the packaging. The shadows not too much. I prefer bolder/brighter shades, but... knowing how I am now, I probably would have still bought this if I had been an addict back in 2006.

Here's a picture I found online from Makeup talk. From 2006....

LOL

I don't have a "dressing table", so my storage is not elegant, but i know exactly where things are. I got inexpensive transparent plastic boxes with white snap-on lids (Sterilite brand - they have a website). I use "shoe box" size (6 qt.) for eyes and lips. Within each box items are grouped by color in quart-size plastic bags. Face products are in similar but larger boxes (16 qt.), since foundation & some primer bottles are tall and face compacts bulkier. The boxes all stack neatly together. Also, i tend to keep products in their original boxes with the names arranged so i can see them when i pop off the lid from the storage box.

LIPS. Sticks and glosses in separate bags from each other; liners with similarly colored lipsticks, unless noted.
(1) Lip Basics Box: Lip Conditioners, balms, & primers; Reds; Warm Pinks; Golds; Blacks, Silvers, Iridescents;
(2) Warm + Green & Blue Box: Corals & Peaches; Coppers; Browns; Nudes; Blues & Greens;
(3) Violets & Purples Box - this box is STUFFED! All violet, purple, plum, and maroon lip liners in one bag; Light blue violet; Dark blue violet; Dark purple (red-violet) & plum & maroon; Magenta; Pale violet pink.

EYES. Liners are in separate bags from Shadows.
(1) Eye Basics Box: Tools; Eyebrow Products; Lid Primers; Gold products; White & Iridescent products; Black Mascaras; False Eyelashes;
(2) Brown and Neutral Box - liners, mascaras, & shadows, including gold and multi-color frosted/glittered black liners, too, 'cuz they aren't black black, which i don't wear. Brown mascaras; Cake liners; Stick & pencil liners; Gel/cream & liquid liners; Shadows bagged by color, warm/cool, light/dark;
(3) Warm + Green & Warm Blue Box - liners & shadows: Bronze & copper; Rose; Peach, orange; Yellow; Palettes with colors from several groups; Warm greens (lime, olive); Cool greens (mint, leaf); Warm blue, teal, turquoise;
(4) Cool Box: mascaras, liners, & shadows - this box is stuffed, too: Blue violet liner pencils and mascara; Warm purple (i.e., red-violet), plum liner pencils; Violet & purple liquid, gel, & cake liners; Very cool blue violet shadows; Warmer blue violet shadows; Warm purple shadows; Plum & maroon shadows; Cool blue & cool pink shadows (few).

FACE. Most bottles are lined up and compacts arranged neatly. Some smaller items are bagged together.
(1) Face Basics Box: Primers; Concealers; Tinted moisturizers; Foundations; Powders;
(2) Blushes, Highlighters, & Contour/Bronzers: Warm colors on one side; Cool on the other; Neutrals and mixed palettes in the center. Products are additionally grouped by purpose.

BRUSHES i keep in a separate case.

OK this is awfully long. I better quit now.

I believe there was a small Zandra collection a few years back.
Edited to add: I see the lovely Ernie beat me to this along with supplying a great pic.
She was famous for the outrageous makeup portraits she would do for each of her collections - I think she collaborated with Serge Lutens, though, so I'm not sure if MAC could poach her away from Shiseido. There needs to be a lot more respect and recognition for the amazing work she's done all these years!

I love Beth (and Gossip), but the collection is just kinda, meh.
But what I really love is seeing MAC embracing a gorgeous, real-sized, outside the mainstream performer
But MAC has always lived it's All Ages, All Races, All Sexes creed, which I appreciate - a lot brands seem to say this, but then all you see are young, stick-thin, airbrushed, caucasian women.

I agree. I appreciate the multi-cultural aspects of MAC. The promo for chenman was really amazing. I loved it :) Force of Love is also my favourite lipstick. It works so well for me, daytime and evening.
