MAC So Reel / Reel Sexy discussion

I think I will skip heroine cause I just bought violetta and I think I will skip the shadows too as none of them excite me and I think they are fairly dupable
I already have Violetta and personally I think it is more unique and prettier than Violetta. However, it is more difficult to pull off. I also have Lightscapade MSF.

My wishlist is Reel sexy l/s. backup of watch me simmer (such a gorgeous colour), dynamic duo 3 and perhaps hyacinth eye kohl. Usually when I start buying I get more than I originally planned... I have been in doubt about pink popcorn and reel sexy, but I think I wil get the latter....

Edit: I forgot to mention Pink Cult blush and Magenta blush. How could I... I was only going for PC until I heard about the combo of Magenta on top of Restores Dazzle and FoJ. That is coming home with me now too...

I got Pink Cult --- gorgeous!!

Hyacinth and Heirloom and love them both. The Hyacinth is especially pretty because it is not navy, just a nice dark blue.

Reel Sexy which is lovely but takes some work to pull off. Works better with a lip brush.

I keep on thinking Reel sexy looks like So Vain.. I'l take it anyway because I love So vain, it's one of my favourite lip colors! Star quality has jumped on my list.. looks really cute, a strawberry red ^^ I'm on the fence about Heroine... I like matte lipsticks but I don't wear my purple lip' stuff too much :/

if you don't wear purple enough I wouldn't get it, but if your a purple lover, it is a MUST HAVE. I loooove Heroine! It's my favorite lippie from the collection ^_^ And matte texture helps it stand out amongst my other purple lippies.

I am going to check if that gloss is still available somewehere. Skipped it, but sounds great, and probably more wearable.

And so is On A Holiday (also from Vera Collection). Both are so beautiful with most of the bright pink and purple lipsticks
MAC has recently released.

I got on a holiday. I bought it to try the formula of a plushglass since I read quite a lot of negative reviews about them. I am not much of a lipgloss person myself. I prefer lipsticks (preferably bright ones

). I have tried heroine and I like it. However, it is a colour that is less easy to pull off than a lot of other brights I have (NC 15 skin). That doesn't mean I will not wear it, but I will reach for other lipsticks more often. Lipsticks like these are nice to have for photoshoots for example. Reading your advice I want to see if MAC UK still has some in the goodbye section...

That is great!

I like both lipsticks and lipglosses and of course the combo of both!
I love to play with different lipglosses to see how they change the color of a lipstick.

On A Holiday is also pretty with an orange tinged lipstick....I love the combo pink + orange (especially in Summer).
Also on my cheeks with a pink blush layed over an orange one.

I was wondering since you order a lot of stuff from the UK, how exactly do you do that? The UK site doesn't ship to the Netherlands does it? Do you just call the UK pro store and let them ship to the Netherlands? How much are the shipping costs? I might try that as well if it's not to expensive.

I think you need a pro card, but I am not sure. You can only do that via phone order. Shipping costs are 18 pounds whether you buy one lip pencil or you buy 500 items. Fedex delivers then. HTH.

P.s: delivery varies from 3 days to 2 weeks, depending on how busy MAC is and you need a credit card.

Thanks! I'll stick to buying in the netherlands then.

OMGOSH I am so elated this morning. I FINALLY found a way to pull off Reel Sexy lipstick for women around my complexion! The lip combo is Reel Sexy lipstick
paired with NYX lip liner in Earth Tone! This is good because when I originally got the RS lipstick I was upset with how it looked, but a little liner made it look gorgeous and wearable. I strongly recommend trying out the combo. If you don't have Earth Tone lip liner, MAC's Chestnut would be a great substitute.
