MAC So Reel / Reel Sexy discussion

Oh shoot, I Almost forgot (sorry for double posting) but of course I topped this combo off with a dab of my favorite lip gloss for topping purposes lol : NYX Mega Shine l/g in Crystal Soda. Crystal Soda doesn't alter the color, it just makes the pout more luscious looking! So the lipstick and liner still looks true to color.

OMGOSH I am so elated this morning. I FINALLY found a way to pull off Reel Sexy lipstick for women around my complexion! The lip combo is Reel Sexy lipstick
paired with NYX lip liner in Earth Tone! This is good because when I originally got the RS lipstick I was upset with how it looked, but a little liner made it look gorgeous and wearable. I strongly recommend trying out the combo. If you don't have Earth Tone lip liner, MAC's Chestnut would be a great substitute.

Very pretty! I have yet to wear Reel Sexy. What gloss if any, did you pair it with?

I used a few colors from LORAC's Unzipped Palette. I actually like the palette more than the Naked palette. I'm gonna do an FOTD on my blog on this look. This is the look I did this morning for work. lol

I'm dithering about this collection. Reel Sexy might be a bit too orange for me and I'm not sure I can pull off Heroine but it looks cool. Star Quality is too pretty to pass up though. I was considering a back up of Watch Me Simmer but I might just Full Speed SS instead.

Aw =) thank you so much! Reel Sexy is a super bold lip color that many can't pull off by applying it alone and straight from the tube. I was one of those people so I just wanted to show everyone how to make it wearable. Glad you guys like it.

Thanks! I paired it with my favorite, NYX mega shine lip gloss in Crystal Soda. It's perfect for topping a lipstick because it never alters the color of the lipstick.. it just adds shine and more luscious look to the pout.

BTW how do you who have Private Screening like it? I decided to skip it after I saw it yesteday at Mac because I have the two coral CSGs from Dazzlespheres. I think they go better with Reel Sexy (and like) than PS.

Yes, I have all 4 lipsticks and all 4 cremesheens from the RS collection. I actually like PS.. I paired it with MAC's Pillow Talk lipstck earlier this week and it looked good. If you have fine lines, those kind of shades can settle in them. I also wore it alone and liked it. Try going to your nearest MAC counter or store and test it out.
