Sounds good to me! Thank you for the review, bis! I might have to remove Shore Leave from my list. I have a feeling it may look funny on my pigmented lips.

That's why I did not get it, it is very light and to fill the lips in with the PLW liner is not a good idea for me as they are very drying. Pigmented lips can be such a pain. I am wearing Fleet Fast and Red Racer today. FF is a very nice subtle blush, great texture. Red Racer is also a great texture, although I am not so sure about the color on me. It looks like Runway Reds lighter sister. At least is does not turn pink on me.

I'm off to the MAC counter tomorrow to swatch around a bit, really curious about how Salute would look on me (NW15 with fairly pigmented lips!).

That's why I am doubting getting Red Racer... I have so many reds. In the colour description it sounds nice but I saw a swatch in which it seems to have a blue base. Blue based + Satin finish = similar to MAC Red? On the other hand I also have several yellow based reds, so I dunno...

Probably should have introduced myself, but I was keen to jump in since I've been haunting this forum.

I'm a very warm toned NC30 (anyone remember Merle Norman seasons? I'm an autumn) so cool tones look hideous on me. Based on the swatches I've seen so far, I think my list is:

Sail la Vie (seems slightly redder and hopefully a tad less in your face orange than Morange) OR Riviera Life (I don't need both - repeat to self as required)
Red Racer (depends how warm it is - haven't seen great swatches yet)
Shore Leave lip pencil (will look good with some recent coral purchases: Ravishing LG, See Sheer and perhaps even Razzledazzler)
Fleet Fast (unless it's too close to a dupe for my other coral type blushes: Peachykeen, Melba, Modern Mandarin and Immortal Flower)

I think I'd like to try one of the bronzers. I haven't used one for a VERY long time (maybe 20 years). I used to be very fond of shimmery bronze; a great look for mid-20s, but not now (mid-40s). Does anyone have any recommendations? The MUA suggested Matte when I said I wanted to avoid anything too shimmery (anything with outright glitter is a non-starter). Has anyone tried the bronzers in this collection?

Which lipstick matches Blessedly Rich?

TCaS. They are not the same colour, but both are frosty.

Since I have a Reel Sexy day today, I have not yet used my stuff, but I did some pan comparisons yesterday:

Feeling Fresh - I don't have the green PL e/s, but I remember someone saying that FF would also be like Bio Green. It's not. BG is a golden yellow green, and FF is green with blue! I have quite a lot of green e/s, and FF was closest to Wondergrass. W is with green microglitter and FF does have some blue/teal microglitter in it (I noticed this in natural light). The microglitter is similar in both.
Nautical Navy - NN looks like a navy version of Climate Blue in the pan. But the texture won't be the same for sure.

Sail la Vie looks red(der) next to Neon Orange, and Red Racer is def not a blue based red, but a yellow based one.

Shore Leave is on the pink side, not orange. I'm wearing Reel Sexy today, and when I swatched both (and some other liners), SL was not the best choise for RS.

Launch Away! looks like powder pink (here below) compared to IF. IF is slightly darker and has a coral/orange hue.

Fleet Fast - I don't have that many blushes, but Instant Chic was the closest to FF. However, FF is 1-2 shades darker and kind of a rosier version of IC (and with very small glitter).

Can't wait to try some of these products on tomorrow!

Hey, Sailor haul AND my Reel Sexy stuff!

I've swatched everything.

The only thing I'm not 100% thrilled with is Nautical Navy - The swatch was quite patchy - but I did know this before buying, so I'm hoping that with a brush and a patting motion I'll be able to build the colour up nicely.

FF to me doesn't seem patchy - which I know some were saying the swatches looked it etc, but it does seem ok from the swatch I made, which I admit wasn't a big one.

Jaunty & Barefoot are both gorgeous colours, great pigmentation and look just like the swatches IMO.

I'm also really impressed with Shore Leave. I've never tried anything from the Pro Longwear formula but I swatched it quickly/lightly on my hand and it's STILL there albeit my scrubbing it with a tissue to come off. It's hard to describe the colour, it's coral.. but you can definitely see the pink and orange, if that makes sense? I really need to find a lipstick to pair it with. Does anyone think Ever Hip would work with it? I haven't checked yet but from memory, maybe it'll go ok? My memory isn't the best though, lol.

I picked up my stuff and I love it all I ended up with: TCAS l/s - so pretty! I'm wearing it now and it's so shimmery and sparkly. It's like a more nudey Marquise D' Red Racer l/s - a really beautiful red Jaunty e/s - I adore this and may get a backup. It's one of those lovely simple neutral colours that is great on it's own all over the lid Barefoot e/s - very pigmented yellowy gold Handforged e/l 167sh - it's so fluffyyyyy! It's awesome for lightweight application of powders, which is why I also got... Nude On Board prolongwear bronzer - I've never worn bronzer before but the equally pale MA put it on me and it's lovely Aaaand the blushes are in the post. I'm still tempted by the red lip pencil, Old Gold and the green e/s as they were also really nice. Oh dear.

I've noticed a lot of looks lately where the inner half of the eye has white or near white shadow with quite a dark shadow on the outer v.

I think Crystal Avalanche would be too sparkly for this kind of look. Any suggestions for a nice MAC white?

Gesso, but that's matte.Perhaps Mylar: that is a soft white.

On me it's not blue based unfortunately, it's more a medium red to slightly yellow side. I still like it because it has a great texture and it stays red on me. I guess there are many reds like this around. If you want I can make some swatches when I am back home to compare.

Thank you! This definitely confirms that Launch Away will not be on my list. I already have IM and while it's a nice colour, I need to build it up (even for NC30) and then it gets a bit chalky.

Does anyone have Fleet Fast and Peachykeen? I wondered how close they might be. I also have MM (LOVE it) and Melba I wondered if Fleet Fast would be a dupe for one of them.
