Thank you, I'm definitely going to give it a try.. It looks like the color will show up on my lips as a warm pinky-red.. I keep looking at your picture of Impassioned every 5 seconds! lol I knew I should have ordered it when I ordered Spice, Morange & GAT. -_-BEEaboutmakeup - Impassioned would look gorgeous gorgeous on you!
That is exactly the shade that it is! Its very color saturated too.Thank you, I'm definitely going to give it a try.. It looks like the color will show up on my lips as a warm pinky-red.. Tried the lipstick and it's the same exact color as my top lip. My bottom lip is pink so I am going to use it to neutralize my lips, make them the same color and add a bright gloss on top. I really loved the results when I tried it this way in the stores. The gloss is nice, too brown for me, and I felt like I can get more out of the lipstick. I may go back for the gloss in a few weeks. I think the gloss will look great mixed to deepen other colorsThank you gals! Has anyone tried Chestnut?
Are you? I didn't know that.Well I am
hugs doll!
elegant those photos are so beautiful...i have been mulling over whether to get impassioned nailpolish and i think i am definitely being swayed to do so! pink nouveau looks really nice too...i'm a little bit less certain on that one for myself, but it looks sooo pretty...
i tried a few of the polishes in the store today, rebel, spice, russian red and GAT...i'm not sure why T gave rebel a not so good review, i thought it was the best of the bunch, but i left it behind because the sales assistant told me that the polishes were eventually going to be made perm.....so i figured i'd pick one up closer to fall or winter....
i also back to maced for spice!
it doesn't look like anything exciting on me, but it does make for a nice natural lip look. slightly pinky.

You know, based on T's swatches, I would have bet Honeyflower would be close but it is way too sheer. I do wonder if anyone has Jubilee how close it would be to Spice? Maybe Spice is a tad more yellow and Jubilee is more pink? It is hard to tell from monitor swatches only, which is why I wish I had the time to go check it out in store. This thread is making me want to B2M for Spice or Pink Noveau.Spice is Nice is close I would bet, but have you looked into Honeyflower or Jubilee??? Maybe a real pro could swatch all of those versus Spice...
Well, if it was a hair removal product that would guarantee it would fly off the shelves! But it is bizarre. Was this in Barcelona or Germany? Or good ole US of A?I went to Macy's yesterday and they had the Latin America/Middle East sets. The display said "Brazil." ROFL
YEP!!! That's exactly why I like it.Well, BEE you sold me on Spice. I stopped by my counter yesterday and had to pick it up. It's good neutral, but still with some color if that makes any sense. I can't believe I bought 5 glosses from this collection. Yes I can, I'm a lip gloss hoarder. Oh well, they were all worth it as I love them all.
What's everyone's favorite so far? My is Chestnut l/g with GAT l/g running a close second.
Thanks. It's actually a warm rosy nude brown on my lips. The application of lipstick was fine, I had no problems with it. It has a satin finish, meaning that it's two notches down from the matte finish. It lasted pretty long especially since I topped it with the matching lipglass. Even after I destroyed my frap. from Starbucks, I didn't have to reapply. lolI love Rebel as a color, but it has that formula that is not as smooth as these new matte formula. And I think its a Satin. Anyway, that is probably why she didn't like it as much. I would tend to agree with the formula being a sort of deal breaker for me, I am getting spoiled by this new matte formula and am hoping they will bring back favorite colors with improved, more smooth application. Not that it couldn't be blended with a lip brush, but I like to just take the tube on the go, apply and done.
Looks hot on you. It looks way peachier than I would think. What do you think of the formula, texture/application? Smooth vs. lasting long?
