MAC X Beth Ditto Discussion

If I were to get it, it would only be because it looks pretty. I doubt that I would use it much. On the other hand I only thought I would get one or two items of HS and I ended up getting 80 - 90 %? I hope my opinion doesn't change. I need a break. Correct: my husband needs a break.
I think i would use the yellow and blue as eyeshadows, but i think i already have shadows that are similar. I guess the pink would be a pretty blush, but it would be hard to only pick up the pink.

You definitely pay for the design, which comes at a much higher price.

Although I like the dots, MAC had more exciting designs in the past, but I'm sure it will fly off the shelves.
I understand that the design makes is more expensive, but like you said there were more exciting designs and even they weren't this expensive. Are you going to get the powder?

I know. If you're on the go it might be an easy all in one product. I prefer to use loose eyeshadows and blushes. I guess that's why I never loved Estée Lauder eyeshadows.

Yes. I'm sure it's great for theatrical make up.

I always loved multi-use palettes, though this one is definitely more on the theatrical side based on the color scheme. However, I still love my Street Art palette from the AoP collection as the color selection gave me a wider range of neutrals and brights that were more shimmery rather than canary yellow or bright blue in the TTP powder. But the dots are cute and I'm happy to pay for it. Bring it on!

I guess if you do a lot of theatrical make up it will be nice indeed. Even if i'm not getting it, i would love to hear how you like it.

I'm down to just Dear Diary on my list but I have Pink Pigeon as well as some other hot pinks that I'd like to compare it with first. I also need to try on some PLW to see how I like the formula.

Same with me, MACina. I had my heart on having Heart Hangover as more of a blue/violet purple l/s. Oh well. I may just skip this collection altogether.

Thank you for sharing the link Naynadine!

Now I need the powder even more....looks like a real fun product and I can not wait to play with it

And I really like Dear Diary

Heart Hangover is very pretty too but I hoped that it would be a more blue/violet purple....

The black/white liner/shadow combo might be handy for travel - liner and brow/tearduct highlighter all in one stick. I'll have to see swatches, might get it if the white is shimmery but not if it's flat.

The rest of the collection is a likely skip for me.

I hope for me as well. The powder looks cool, but it's more expensive than an msf!
Its definitely a skip for me and the powder costing more than MSF doesn't make any sense to me at all, I don't care what the design is. Its very obvious MAC is price gouging...

It's in the same price range as the AoP collection. It would have been nice to have special packaging, but the polka dots will probably do their "selling magic" even without special packaging (despite the high price).
