MAC Casual Colour discussion

I was going to skip but Out For Fun is trying to creep onto my list. It looks like a subdued Optimistic Orange which I skipped...

The colors really do look lovely, but I usually like my beauty things having just one purpose (I'm a little weird that way...I also like using my brushes each for one prupose LOL). I'm also not the biggest fan of cream blush, the only cream blush I absolutely adore is the one from Esteé Lauder's Mad Men collection - Evening rose has just the perfect color and texture for my skin. And I do like lipsticks in tubes - so I guess I will skip in this collection. But that's a good thing - since there are only coming out this and the Beth Ditto collection in June as far as I know (please correct me if I'm wrong - are there more collections coming out in Europe in June?) and the only thing I'm slightly considering getting is this pink-grey Eyshadow/Eyeliner pencil from Beth Ditto, I can finally save up a little (and since it's my birthday in June I may have even a little more to save up!) - and that means I can spend more on the fabulous collections coming out in July :)

This collection is going to be a skip for me. i don't tend to use cream products that much so i'd hate to buy things when they'd go off before i could finish them. i'm bad enough for having to chuck glosses when they go off when i've only used half!

Totally agree with You fairbelle!!! I don't like ccb's either.... Way to dry... Gimme a nars multiple anyday lol

I thought I'd be able to skip this BUT... Evening Stroll, Out For Fun, Relaxation, and Have A Lovely Day are definitely calling out my name! LOL.

From the moment the color story for this collection was announced, I thought this would be an easy skip. I've never been interested in cream products (actually don't think that I own a single item). I never even bothered looking at this thread.
But when I noticed the increased activity on the thread, I decided to check it out...and on my goodness, the swatches are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!

All of a sudden I'm lemming Have A Lovely Day, Weekend Getaway, Evening Stroll, Out for Fun and Keep it Loose! (Plus, I'd be lying if I said Lazy Sunday and Relaxation didn't get a second glance as well),

Obviously, having never owned cream products before, I should only invest in one to see how I like it. But how do I chooooooooose? They're so beautiful. And what if I like them? The expiry issue looms like a dark cloud over my head, haha.

I never should have looked at this thread. I'm in trouble now haha.

I want Weekend Getaway, Out for Fun and Evening Stroll but I HAVE to limit myself to 2. I'm afraid by the time I get through the first one it will be time for Fall makeup.

Ugh! I just knew thIs collection was going to be a skip for sine I don't like creamy products like tender tones and cream blushes, but after swatches I need to get 2. Just hard trying to figure out which 2 to get. Out for fun and weekend get away will probably be the two I end up with.

, other than Evening Stroll, I think a lot of these colors are going to show up in powder form going forward into the Fall, but maybe with a little more Fall-sy cast to the shades, so if you're not a big cream product person, you won't need to miss out. For sure, we're going to see similar colors to Keep It Casual, Out for Fun, Weekend Getaway and Have a Lovely Day.
