I did my haul yesterday and I'm super excited about it!! I got Crew, Fleet Fast, Red Racer & Sail la vie l/s and Riviera life l/g. Red Racer was not on my list but I couldn't skip this, it's an amazing clean red! Riviera life is my new favorite l/g, it's not as sticky as I thought it would be and its color is so vibrant. Sail la vie is the perfect orange
Fleet fast is a very complimentary shade, it's really pigmented so I don't have to use a lot! And last but not least, Crew!! I prefer using this as a blush, I'm sooo happy the stripes are not an overspray!!

Tommorrow, I'm going back for one of the bronzers, and I also have to choose between Launch Away p/b & Feeling Fresh e/s. Love them both but I can afford only one.
This has nothing to do with Hey Sailor collection, but I really wanted to share this with you guys because I'm very disappointed. When I asked the MUA about Extra Dimension and Tres Cheek collections, she told me that we're not getting these in Greece at all..

It is weird, because I remember asking another MAC store two months ago and they told me that these two would launch in April with Prime Future, but now Prime Future is launching now along with Hey Sailor, Reel Sexy and Fashion Sets.Oh that really is a shame... Weird...

I had to choose between Feeling Fresh and Barefoot--I think we will see more bright green in the future, but I really love the Frost Finish. I think the green e/s from Style driven might be a good enough fit that I won't regret skipping. I hate having to choose between products too! If it launches early and I have to do two purchases (one after I get paid), I'll get Crew, Sail La Vie, and Red Racer first. Shore Leave and either Feeling Fresh or Launch Away will be second. My goal is to come out under $100 for each collection, as that did not happen with ED or SSS/CCC.

Thanks! It comes out on my son's birthday so hopefully I can take the day off anyway and go to the mall with him (which works out great, because he loves the mall). *crosses fingers* Does anybody know when Nordstrom might start doing a presale for it? I remember they did it for Tres Cheek but Immortal Flower was already sold out by the time I called to do the presale...so I was hoping I could get Crew that way so I don't have to worry about it...

If you have been making purchases at their MAC counter, I bett the SA will hold one for you. The SA's that work at my Macy's MAC are really good that way and will hold one for me--they even called me when they restocked from S3C3 which is how I got a Dish It Up.
It NEVER hurts to ask, the worst that will happen is they will say they can't.

The SAs at my Nordstrom never remember to call me so I wouldn't expect that haha.
I think they would do a presale, they offered for the Tres Cheek one but I wanted to get them both at the same place so I did it at the MAC shop. I just wonder how early is too early to ask so they don't forget..

I've been invited to a launch event at the Bay, but it's after the launch date. I can't believe that they won't already be sold out at that point, but the MUA said that they'll be holding some inventory back. I declined because I'm going to order online to be sure that I get what I really want; is it customary to hold a launch event post launch?

Those who have hauled, what're your Hey, Sailor! looks? I was in a rush this morning and wanted to use the eye shadows but I was so tired I couldn't even think of what to do with them. I'm lacking inspiration at the moment.. or I'm just so exhausted with exams that I no longer have an imagination lol.

Ive been using crystal avalanche in the inner corner with feeling fresh all over the lid and humid in the crease and outer corner. I fancy giving the blue eye, red lip combo from the promo shots too
I think feeling fresh would look really nice used as an eyeliner under the eye when doing a more neutral look on the lid. I went into a mac store today and had a bit of a swatch of the bits i hadnt bought yet. I really loved jaunty and will definately grab that (still holding out for discount on one of the department store websites) and i like the look of launch away, but didnt buy it as for some reason its 10% off on debenhams website. But i did finally buy crew its just too pretty not to have it. Im going to give it a go and see if i need to back it up

maybe you should the call mac store and asked them if they are putting items on hold. i went on tuesday and they showed me everything and was able to put everything i wanted, including backups on hold.

what i usually do is leave my fathers or my aunts credit card number and then when i go to pick the products up i pay with my cash. go check the Nordstrom counter then, im pretty sure they'll hold your items, iI want to try Nordstrom first, when I did the presale from MAC it was very confusing...I had to buy a gift card that they attatched to the bag with my items. I was kind of worried about it haha.

Oh hey - that sounds pretty! Funnily enough I was looking at Feeling Fresh this morning and tried to decide what to do with it but in the end couldn't think properly and just went for Expensive Pink and Satin Taupe. I need to make another e/s combo list for when I get in ruts like this due to stress and can't think of things in the morning, lol.
The blue eye, red lip combo does look super pretty! I didn't pick up a red l/s though - I think I only own one or two? I'm oddly not that great with red lips - I've never... taken to them.. I'll wear any other colour no issue, so I dunno why I don't go for reds.. alas the only one I have is a NYX one I picked up a couple years back which is a deep blue red, Chaos I think? I prefer blue based ones as they make my teeth look whiter (haha, vain much?)
I have jaunty - it's pretty but again, still haven't used it, will definitely try and find a way to though. I'd like a discount on a department store website, I'll pick up some perm items I've been lusting for a while - I really want "stone" lip pencil from mac, but only mac website seems to have it from what I've noticed. I also have launch away - I haven't used it yet but it is very pretty, you should def. think about getting it
aww! i want to buy crew, but i don't feel like i'll use it enough to warrant the price? maybe. i dunno... hmm... decisions! i've never bought a bu of anything, surprisingly. i don't wear make-up every day though so the chances of me running out of something other than foundation, mascara, eyeliner, powder and eyebrow pencil/highlight is slim.
i wish i had a mac near me so i could swatch the red l/s's and crew myself to see if i'd wear them. blah!
