MAC Fashion Sets discussion

I finally got Spice. I tried it on and it's kind of a meh, although maybe with a full coverage make u and the right eyes it might work... but with a BB cream and mascara DID NOT!

Any suggestions? lol

I put a few different LL with it and that helped. Yesterday I put Decorative Lustreglass over it & I really liked the way that combo looked. Kind of funny though b/c I thought to myself why am I covering this up if I am trying to wear a darn nude. I think I recall reading your not a fan of LGs, is that correct???
Also, do you have any suggestions for nudes (that aren't dc'ed) that you love? I can't remember what color you are...NC/NW...

You are making me jones over Russian Red. I have so many red lippies, why do I need so many??? Doesn't mean I'm not going to pick it up and if I like the Red Racer LS from HS I'm all over that.

For me,its MAC Red, but I like it to lean a little yellow rather than blue. Russian Red is nice, but too blue toned for my liking. I like my red lips to scream, "fire engine!"

ur intimidated? You'd look so fierce with the right red lippie! Cockney is a beautiful Lustre. I just got it a couple weeks ago, you could try that or one that is close to Cockney is Ladybug.A lot of people like LB. I'm not sure what the difference in colors that made me choose cockney over ladybug. They are both beautiful. I'm intimidated by bold, fierce pinks & my arch pale nemesis- nudes! but today I persevered & wore Gesina from Marcel Wanders 1 collx, I was trying to wear GAT but I loathe the way it looks on me, but I really loved the way Gesina looked on me today. What's it going to take to get you into your first red??? I think the right one would look great on you, no doubts what so ever!!!

Don't get me wrong the lips look great but HOW?DID?U?DO?UR?EYES? The curvature of ur crease matching ur eyebrows is so cool! Meow (n a good way)!!

What is everyone's #1 red lippie?

I've just got rebidden by the make up bug. I've gotten Ruby Woo- which I love but on my avatar it looks a little strange but I love it in person & so does my husband. MAC Red, Dare You, Cockney, Runaway Red, Digina?, (today I got my BLOOMIES order which consisted of Approaching Storm & Red Dwarf), heartless, GA #402 but I think that's kind of pink/red....i think that is it??? my oldies but goodies are XS, extreme, dubonet...not to mention the LGs I've gotten my hands on. & don't think for a moment if Red Racer doesn't work that I'm not going to get that! I haven't even had a chance to wear all my new ones. & when Fashion Sets came out I succumbed & tried on Russian Red I can't imagine why I don't have this one yet. I think I'm going to use my B2M. This is obsessive craziness! My 3 nieces went into my closet & found ALL my MU, they were all over it. I was steering them away from my nice stuff & giving them my Coastal Scents palettes that I NEVER use. & then my 12 year old(set) niece said her friend is addicted to MAC?!? Really??? My parents wouldn't give me $ for that. It was my sister's, mom's & friends make up & wet 'n wild...until I got my first job and my first encounter w/ MAC XS. I was searching for a red LS that was suitable for my 1st high school teaching practicum. My BF told me I could NOT WEAR THE F--K ME RED LS to work. Lol. One can never have enough lippies, right???

#1 red lippie?

I go for Red Racer. It's just awesome on me considering I don't really feel the coulour and I only have a few red lippies: Cockney, Heartless, Runaway Red, Kanga Rouge and Red Racer. RedR and Cockney are the best on me (yellow reds, no wonder), Kanga Rouge I have not actually worn a lot (only once?, I got it from G&I). I have issues with Runaway Red. I just turns pink on me. I don't think I will get any more blue based reds, but it's going to be difficult with Ruffian & Marilyn and all. (And can you believe - I passed by our Mac yesterday, and saw that Red Racer was not sold out, unlike TCAS and SLV!)
