Personally I think the PLW have a better texture. I have the feeling they have a bit more sheen. Refined Golden has glitters in it. Me no like. Soft Sand has no real noticable shimmer. Perhaps if applied more heavily... I would go for the PLW ones. I als have matte bronze which I like too by the way.

I don't like glitter at all - or I should say that glitter no longer flatters my older skin. I know I wouldn't like Refined Golden. I don't mind a bit of glowiness though. Thanks for your responses - subtle differences like this are hard to pick up from swatches.

You're very welcome. You're right about the swatches. Even when I swatched them on my arm the difference was not that obvious. When applied on the face and blended etc you get to see the beauty.

Are there other people here that bought Nude on Board and that are happy with it?

I should have asked how you like Crew; I passed on it since I thought it would be too cool-toned, but it seems very pretty and subtle on Allura's swatches. That's one item I don't want to have skipper's remorse over.

Thanks to you lovely ladies I bought off the website: RED RACERRRRR!! I was having severe remorse over skipping it earlier at the duty free (grrr....) and I am glad I got it although I did pay tax (double grrrr....)...Anyhoooo, final haul: Jaunty, Crew and Red Racer. I am still contemplating Sail La Vie, Riviera Life and TCAS. Liba just talked me out of Blessedly Rich :train:

I should have asked how you like Crew; I passed on it since I thought it would be too cool-toned, but it seems very pretty and subtle on Allura's swatches. That's one item I don't want to have skipper's remorse over.

I am NC20 and I love it. I definitely think Allura applied it pretty sheer because it's just a sheen, while I, armed with the bobbi brown face blender brush (which I am convincing myself is a dupe for the 167SH), got it to be a nice pretty pink blush (a little more peach than true pink).

I am SOOOO happy I got crew. I gotta hand it to Mac-Guy whose review and impression and the fact that he is BU-ing it convinced me this is a gem. OT: As I was placing my order on the website, I saw the spice was still on there and I was contemplating a BU. During the thought process, I remembered that Mac-Guy had bought multiple BU's and so I reasoned that it is BU-worthy. I am hoping it is still around after June 10th. Sadly I missed on razzledazzler BU but I have a BU of flamingo to get me through!

Thank you. Hm...now I'm second guessing myself. Are you more neutral or warm toned? If it's a pure pink it really won't work for me (looks ashy); it would have to be fairly peachy.

Why why why did I miss Marine Life?

You know, I'm all but certain that this is too cool for me. It's just so...pretty. I will wait for more swatches. Never mind that my neutral/cool-toned daughter could wear this if I couldn't and that it wouldn't be exactly wasted. Not relevant. No.

Temptalia has a few reviews up so far, but just of Vestral White and the pigments. I will say that her picture of the tote makes me want it, but I can't spend $45 on a bag that probably won't get much use.

Lol get it!!! oke: I am neutral if MAC ever made a neutral foundation. I find NC20 to be very yellow. In fact, I am 117 in mufe HD and BR 22 in Vitalumiere Aqua, and I think C1 (which was wayyyy yellow) in F&B ...Porcelain in LM TM. You get the picture. It is definitely more peach than the average pink but say less peach than deep throat by NARS if that makes sense. It is quite unique in my stash of blushes totalling more than 70 (!) blushes *hides face in shame and still craving Fleet Fast*
