Seeing as I'd never heard of Ruffian before, the name does nothing for me. Same with Beth Ditto.

In fact, since ruffian means a violent person, I don't find it a very attractive name.
yeah i'll be skipping these - kinda not that interested! is it wrong that i feel bad to be skipping things?!

It's good to be able to find a collection you can skip from time to time, as they put out so many collections and sometimes it's not possible to be able to afford to buy from them all. Don't feel bad about skipping a collection - the money will come in useful when a collection comes along that really appeals to you.

I think I'm going to skip Beth Ditto with the possible exception of You're Perfect Already and *maybe* Entertain Me. The Ruffian nails are a definite skip for me but I'll have to see swatches of the lipsticks before deciding on those. I will probably end up getting the red one because I find reds *so hard* to resist, but on the other hand I might try to hold on for Marilyn... I could do with skipping a couple of collections because Marilyn and Heavenly Creatures look like big hauls for me!

I think I will skip Ruffian. I don't need any false nails and the lipsticks don't grab me so I will gladly focus all of my attention on Heavenly Creature, which will be my biggest haul thus far.

So we were talking about animal print being a must buy... I went through and found all of my Style Warriors glosses. I haven't ever used most of them, yikes! I am wearing Gold Rebel now and it's really pretty, idk why I didn't use it. But Style Warriors is way too dark for me, I guess I just bought it for the animal print packaging.

The sad part is... that happens to me A LOT with MAC lipglasses. I have a disgusting amount of them, so every now and then I stumble upon one or two that I have never worn!!

I have a new plan for organizing all of my make-up this summer though, and I think that will help me get the problem under control.

What are you going to do?

Personally I keep mine organized by season and then by collection within each season, and that's working out well so far, but I bet my collection is nowhere near as large as some of the people here.

Oooh you actually have it by season and then collection? Very impressive! I wear make-up out of season very often though, so I am thinking of doing it by color, like my nail polish. I have my nail polish nicely organized in a Helmer. My red drawer starts with the darkest reds at the back, moving to lighter reds in the front, etc. I think it would work for MAC too, because I normally decide what colors I'm in the mood to wear and then go hunt for them.
