MAC So Reel / Reel Sexy discussion

Ok, maybe somebody can put my mind at ease. So far I got Lightscapade, Dynamic Duo 3, both blushes, Hyacinth eye kohl, Pink Popcorn, Heroine, Watch me Simmer (from S3), Colour saturation, Star Quality. I want to get the Reel Sexy lipstick for sure. But I am also still thinking about Dynamic Duo 4, Heirloom eye kohl and perhaps Resort eye kohl, as well as the green and purple nail polish. Who got DD 4? Who wants to anti- enable me fot the additional RS items?

My husband is really getting fed up and I know I want the make up bags, Reel Sexy l/s and about 5 Nars items (blushes/ highlight / bronzer).

Do you own Jazzed? If you do, you probably don't need RS, unless you want Jazzed to look even louder and brighter and crazier than it already does.

I'm NC15 and man, it requires those special solar eclipse glasses to be viewed in safety. You might be able to work it better than I can, though, because I've got dark hair and brows and green eyes, so it's maximum clash on me.

I don't understand how RS can look so bright on others. On me it doesn't look crazy at all.

I really wonder about that too - on you and Piarpreet it looks much more subdued. All I can think is the two of you are NWs, aren't you? Maybe that makes a big difference? I can't get it to look quiet like that unless I blot it down to the point of "why bother?".

I'm NC15, but i think i'm more neutral rather than really yellow. Does RS apply very creamy on you as well? It seems more creamy than my other Amplifieds.

I don't have a lot of Amplifieds, but as far as I can recall, it's creamier and glossier than the ones I can think of - almost like a sheen supreme but with double the pigment.

I definitely have some yellow undertones to my skin in there, because certain colors make me look very sallow. I couldn't resist RS, even though I'd brought my tube of Jazzed in to the store to compare it and it was exactly the same color, just a different finish. Even Jazzed I can only really pull off well at the height of the summer when I'm at maximum sunburn face and the light quality in L.A. is very bright and penetrating. Come to think of it, I honestly would only wear Jazzed in the daytime too, on top of it.

Good thing I'm sometimes in the mood for a very in-your-face, wacky lipstick. I admit I get a little inner thrill when I catch someone looking all perplexed and shocked at my lipstick

It's also not neon on me, that's why I did not get it, it was way to close in effect to WMS to get it.

I think that the yellow undertones make the difference then. I think Viva glam gaga 2 has a similar texture as well maybe a bit less creamy.
It's really funny when people look suprised at you and you realise it's the bright awesome lippie you're wearing that they are looking at.

Hahaha - I can always tell when they are freaking out on my lipstick, because you see this surprised look with big eyes and then the eyes narrow down focussed right on my mouth level like little binoculars. I do enjoy shocking people - gotta shake these people out of their boring day for a minute!

I never look well enough at those people to see their eyes go down They should appreciate us for shaking them out of their boring day!
