You should be fine for the first year or so, you'll just have a lot of lectures!
I'm a medical student, and sadly both doctors and patients tend to frown upon "obvious" makeup I tend to stick with pinks, peaches, golds, browns and beiges.

I can kind of understand that we have to appear "professional" - but as long as make-up is applied properly, I don't see what is wrong with colour. Maybe that's because I love colour so much, though. What about nail polish? Although perhaps being a medical student you're unable to wear it for H&S reasons. If you have though, "professional" colours then, too? I may just have to add a "pop" of colour with bright eyeliner if necessary lol.

I know I want moth brown ,jete, flash of flesh and bait. I'm not really sure about any of the lipsticks. I don't really do neons. I'm not comfortable in them. I wear secret lover over dish it up to tone it down.

Yeah, the bright thing won't be great, but I suppose it'll make it more fun when I can wear brights. I wear them everytime I wear make-up usually.

It does suck to be international - totally agree. In this case I'm *kinda* happy because it gives me time to save.

The lipsticks always sell out first. The l/g seems to seel out last which I find strange because at my Mac counter the l/g always sells out first. It must be the region I live in.

I'll be doing that too. I REALLY want Moth Brown, and Jete. Ordering from the german MAC site is kind of like playing the lottery. A lot of the times things are sold out before they are even visible under the 'What's new'' section. And my orders got cancelled more than once because things were sold out even though they were showing as still available. I missed out on a couple of things I really wanted because of that.

I do not like it all when collections are exclusively sold on the MAC site.

My theory is that here in Washington women tend to like easy quick makeup more. And while I tend to reach for brights and reds here to counteract the rainy weather the fastest sellers in makeup here tend to be browns, taupes and greige.

I think your right. I live near olympia so I was thinking the college had something to do with it but the theory is still the same...quick makeup.
