MAC Heavenly creature discussion

I'm glad I'm skipping the MES (at least, that's my intention). I don't really need anymore MES, although they look gorgeous.
I wish I was that strong!

Okay, I did narrow the list (again), this time X ing out all that look like either too much gold (except for one MB), too much glitter, or something similar to products in my stash...since I was able to cut back some mineral products, the lipstuff found its way back on the list LOL

MES: I will have to go swirl hunting
Aurora (gorgeous!), Bright Moon (if not too shimmery), Earthy (if not too gold/bronze), Neo Nebula (my prediction is the first will sell out too), Water (if I can find one with lots of green)

MB: Supernova (only), the rest look either too dark or too glitter bombish

MSF: Light Year, Star Wonder

Galaxy Rose csg, and Fire Sign lipstick

And that's my idea of restraint!

This will be my strategy as well. I'm on team Anti-Gold.
I went with that thought too!

Your list looks similar to mine! I definitely want Light Year and Star Wonder and I'm avoiding too much gold and glitter. I love gold, but only for my eyes. I might pick up Supernova and I'm looking at Fire Sign too. Since I have my Fall wedding and a trip to Disney coming up, I think I'll only be able to haul 3-4 things from this one.

I really love the look of Light Year -- it would be my first MSF and I'm not even sure what I would/should do with it -- but it is so, so gorgeous.

My list is ridonk long, I need to cut it WAY down when swatches start popping up. I'll most likely be ordering online, I want to be surprised with my swirls!

Star Wonder MSF
Light Year MSF
Earthshine MSF (maybe, I got super tan in the last 5 days so it's a summer possibility)
Solar Ray MB
Stratus MB
Ring of Saturn MB
Neo Nebula MES
Invincible Light MES
Earthly MES
Aurora MES
Galaxy Rose CSG
Astral CSG
Celestial Kiss CSG
Strictly Plutonic CSG

Looks like The Bay in Canada will be getting Illustrated the same day!!

I hope I don't like those new shadows.

Yeah, me too, I will just order everything as soon as it's up online. Last time I tried to look for a blue Lightscapade, the MUAs thought I was crazy.
Why? MSFs with lots of veining are the best. I always pray I get the ones with a lot of veining. I will be stalking the site to snag what I want. I can't deal with shopping in stores.

lol same here! Lately I've been faxing in my orders it's so muuuch easier since my store is always packed.
My MAC stores/counter aren't as close as I would like them to be. I would have to travel into Manhattan or go to my local mall - which would require an hour trip via public transportation (no car here) whereas by car it would be 15 mins. I hate crowds and lines so online works out just fine!

I totally agree! It's not too difficult for me to get to a MAC store or another store that sells MAC here in NYC, but I HATE crowds, I also don't like sales people that are a little too eager to assist and rush me or sales people that just ignore me when I need assistance. And let's not forget nasty people that push, shove or reach right through you to grab something you were looking at. I usually end up having high blood pressure and anger issues. I love online shopping. It's easy, convenient and no one bothers me. The only negative about online shopping for me is when my computer crashes or I have trouble getting online. Other than that I love it!!!!

I tend to avoid the MAC counter/store in NYC because it's always so crowded and I can never check out/swatch what I want. You should take the path to Newport mall. It's very close from World Trade Center. The Mall has a MAC counter at Macy's and it's usually not crowded at all. Also, they have a special 3.5% sales tax and a Sephora store! NYC charges 8.875% sales tax! Yikes!!

However, I do like the Sephora store in NYC better because they have a better stock, they get new items quicker, they have a Illamasqua booth and Make Up For Ever's line of brushes and other products that other Sephora stores don't carry.

I get major anxiety in stores. The few times I've been to a MAC store, I've gotten major anxiety and only browsed. I didn't even make a purchase because of all the tourist up in there. Its was crazy. I have had only one negative experience with MAC SAs and the other 3 times they were extremely pleasant.

They just didn't seem to understand why I would want to choose my own MSF.

Does anyone have a guesstimate on when this collection will be online for purchase? MAC always seems to release early on their website.

I would guess the 1st July or the 2nd since the 1st is a Sunday.
It usually seems to pop up around Monday/Tuesday afternoon when the launch is on a Thursday... it really all seems to depend on when it goes up for Pro. If it goes up early for Pro, it usually goes up about a week later for the main site.

It also seems like when its a collection with in-store events, that it launches a week or so early. (Shop MAC & Hey Sailor this happened)

so yeah, I will start stalking it probably the Friday before... but I wouldn't expect it to actually be online until the 2nd or 3rd maybe.

Thank you to both for your responses! I have to set up alerts now so I won't forget and miss out. I'm not having much faith in my SA at Nordstrom's remembering to call me or get my order right.

That's how I feel! I'm giddy with excitement and will probably buy everything in this collection! This was the look on The Man's face when I told him it was going to be a huge haul ----->
