That's how I feel! I'm giddy with excitement and will probably buy everything in this collection! This was the look on The Man's face when I told him it was going to be a huge haul ----->

Also... I don't even tell the manfolk when a new collection comes out. I try to fly under the radar and assimilate all the new stuff into my bathroom without him noticing...

Last time I actually went to intercept the package at lunch, unpack it, get rid of the evidence...and then back to work. muahahaha.

I hope it doesn't come out online until the 29th or later so I can make one big haul. Otherwise if it's like it's been I'll be making 2 hauls. Hopefully everything I want doesn't sell out if I have to make my second haul on the 29th when I get paid otherwise it'll be 3 hauls when I get stuff from Nordie's lol. Yes, I have it planned out. I can't wait that's for sure.

I have had only one negative experience with MAC SAs and the other 3 times they were extremely pleasant.
I live in NYC and hate crowds too. The only good thing is, there are quite a few freestanding Mac stores, not to mention counters so if they are out of stock you can easily walk a few blocks to another store and get what you need. But that does get old after awhile. Who wants to run around on release day? That is why I have been shopping so much online lately.
However, I'm missing my store and they are forgetting all about me. I don't really get invited to events anymore. I went to my store about 2 weeks ago and I didn't recognize anyone working there. So weird. I've been going to that store since the late '90s!
I am almost sure I'm going to skip online ordering and give my store some business. I happen to be off work release day and the week before which I assume is when Pro launches so I can be there at store opening for either the regular or pro store. I just don't know if I can wait if they launch early at Pro or online especially with a shipping code or overnight delivery. Such a good deal if you are ordering lots. And I plan on getting lots.

But on the other hand when I went to Pro on the last launch day they were out of quite a few things and it was crowded. I think there was a class going on and people just stayed to buy stuff. This was unusual so I hope it was a one time only thing.

Oh the problems of a beauty/Mac addict.

I guess i'm lucky. My local MAC can get pretty crowded, but so far no one has been too rudely grabby. And the SAs pretty much all know me, so they aren't pushy and they're happy to help when i'm ready for it.

I get to try stuff out in the back room for pre-sale. I've even managed to be the first one for a number of collections (such as Casual Colour). I'm hoping to be first in for Heavenly Creature. The photos are all so gorgeous, i feel like i want them all! But i know that once i test them on myself i'll narrow the list down.

First reports seem to be that the Mineralize stuff is shimmery, but not glittery. I like some glitter, but shimmer is more versatile. I don't mind shimmer on both my eyes and cheeks, but even i will admit that there can be such as thing as too much glitter if the fall-out makes me look like a freshly shaken snow globe.

I wore Star Wonder today as a blush (first time - been sick, well still am) and the pigmentation surprised me. I put it on with a regular blush brush and I actually had to tone it down afterwards with my powderbrush, because it was way more pigmented than I realized. The colour on is very cool. Sort of berry with pinkish-coral tones. But much more pigmented blush than I initially thought! Sorry didn't get a picture. SORRY! Have had the worst two days ever... Terrible terrible story
