Hey everyone! I have a few questions on b2m, that I hope you can answer for me.
Can I back to mac a viva glam v lipstick?
Can I back to mac the passions of red fascinating ruby lip palette (came with a lipglass and two lipsticks) from 2008
Is it okay if a foundation bottle still has a small amount of liquid left?
Can I back to mac a mascara if I got it in the look in a box frisky girl set?
Is it true that you can get a LE lipstick?
Should I go to a mac store or a mac in a macys, nordstroms, ect?
Thanks!

Hi BerryCute,

I don't have answers to all your questions, but I'll tell you what I know/have discovered online. I've numbered your questions to make it easier to respond. I'm open to being corrected and learning from my mistakes if I've gotten anything wrong. :)

(1) Yes -- You just can't get a VG lipstick in exchange for your empties.
(2) See my answer for (4)
(3) Yes -- It doesn't matter if the container is empty or full.
(4) I don't think so -- I've heard that you must B2M all items in a set for it to count, and then that set counts as only *one* empty. For example, if you got a set of 4 pigment minis in a tin, you must B2M all 4 minis in the tin for it to count as a single empty.
(5) Yes -- LE items are eligible, as long as it's *not* in special packaging.
(6) You can go to any location if you want to exchange your empties for a lipstick. You must go to a MAC Pro store (i.e. a freestanding MAC location) if you want to swap for an eyeshadow, lip gloss, or lipstick. If you don't have a Pro store near you, you can B2M via snail mail.

Finally, you can verify that a particular product is eligible for the B2M program by check for "Back 2 MAC" written on the flap of the original cardboard box.

ps ETA I had answers to all your questions! Cool. :)

Quick question!

I have a few lipglasses that have a tiny bit of product left in them, but of course I can't get them out of the tube. Do I have to clean all of them out before MAC will take them back?

Hey chickies, does anyone know if B2M will accept the pigment vials as part of the B2M program? They're tiny, but still recycling nonetheless. Anyway, let me know if you've B2M'd one of those vials successfully. Thanks! :)

You have to return all the items from the set they came from to count as one item.
