Recently I got Pink Nouveau and Girl About Town lipsticks since they were on my wishlist for a long time and I too am getting two lipsticks from HC. There are times that the permanent lipsticks that doesn't need to be overlooked sine the LE lipsticks have been overwhelming me since Iris Aphel.I'm just on a perm lipstick buying kick! I've had the same lipsticks on my list foreverrr and haven't made the jump to get them, mainly because I have been distracted by all the limited edition lipsticks since Apfel til now. Fortunately I'm only maybe interested in 2 lipsticks from HC, swatches pending, so I can devote some dollars to perm onesI'm still really feeling the corals. So summery! WMS, Nicki and Force of Love are still my top runners right now!

You're not the only one. I just did a major haul on quite a few perm items along with my RG order. Items which I'm running low on and lipsticks and lipliners I've been wanting forever. I figured I get them now before the price increase, and that's a good enough rationale for me. Lol! I'm not too interested in HC except for the VAE, so I'll be on a MAC-no-buy until the Marilyn Collection.I'm just on a perm lipstick buying kick! You can do this with any frost lippie. The frost will reflect light, and thus add dimension to your lips.
Now it's up to you if you really want to add a golden frost to your collection.

I am sure that this is a pretty combo
And the only reason why I will get the Gold lipstick....I think that it is perfect for layering.
I guess that it will also look super pretty layered over the red lipsticks from Marilyn Collection.
And also over dark purples!

Thanks for doing this Richelle! I can't wait to get my mits on this. Europe is kind of lucky b/c they won't be buying blind, I go back & forth on this thought tho. It's kind of exciting not to have any idea of what we're getting into.
Out of all the swatches I have of other reds Ruffian looks closest to Red Racer, so maybe this one will work better for those that RR didn't quite work for.

I only got the Gold, as I have purchased my HG red lipstick (Cle De Peau in R1) two weeks ago. I just did not want another red after this. I figure I can use the Gold by itself or layered with others. I am curious how good it can layer with R1.

My order doesn't arrive until next monday. Darn standard shipping lol. I wish they would've had the overnight codes when I ordered but at least I'll get it and enjoy the swatches until then. I'm curious as to how Naked and Gold swatch as I didn't get those (yet) lol.
