oh ok the two times I went to VF they r so busy and the ppl r snooty I always walk away with nothing.
They are busy...and I kinda am not really a fan of being attacked when I walk in the door...I like to just browse and stuff without people bugging me. My boyfriend had some friends who worked in that one, so it wasnt so bad... I just am more of a lone-shopper...and I usually already know what I want...

I'm much happier shopping online...lol. It gives me something to do when I'm bored at work. (speaking of which...I should probably go home now)

Can't wait for next week! Wait, are we expecting this next week?
That depends on if you are talking about pro or not. I'm just a normal schlub, so I wait for the general release....I'm expecting it will probably go up around July 2nd...

OMG! OMG OMG!

My friendly MAC mua phoned me last night, but i didn't get the message. Fortunately she phoned me this AM as soon as the store opened and i was there within the hour. They were still putting them out when i got there. My little heart was going pit-a-pat and i was practically hyperventilating (ok, ok, i'm being melodramatic :)

All my resolve melted when i began testing them. I wasn't the very first, though, since my friendly mua had tested a couple. They are all SOOOOO beautiful. As i have said, i have a dumb phone and no camera, so my profuse and profound apologies that i can offer no swatches.

Those who abhor glitter, well, these are not for you. They are all all shimmery... and some of that shimmer leads to fallout. But it is fine tiny fall out and easily brushed away.

CONCLUSION
To sum up, all are shimmery and even a bit glittery, with some fine fall-out (but it's really BEAUTIFUL fall-out!). All are just gorgeous colors, even the ones that were not my favorites - definitely mind-changing. And all deliver on their colors, no disappointments. Amazingly all deliver the hyped "multi-dimensionality".
Thank you so much for the detailed review. I loathe glitter on myself, so this collection just became a pass. I'm sure there will be other beautiful MB and MSF coming and I will wait for those. :)

I know for sure that I want Light Year & Star Wonder MSFs. Center of the Universe gives me Stereo Rose vibes, which I have & love, but rarely use. People keep describing Earthshine as "plummy brown" and the is kinda confusing me because I thought I didn't want it but I would describe So Ceylon as "plummy brown" and that is my HG bronzer.

I like the look of a couple of the MBs, but I always end up getting rid of them every time I buy one. I will probably be skipping all of those. As far as lippies go, I NEED Cut-a-caper. That is a non-negotiable. I will check out Pleasureseeker in-store, but I think it will be a pass. Venus is also on my radar, but I want more swatches of that one too.

I do my back to MAC stuff as the counter in Macy's and they never say anything about the missing pans. Must be just a pro-store thing.

I think I might call a Macy's tomorrow and see if I can B2M for a lippie from this collection without the es pans. It's worth a shot. I just wish EVERY SINGLE store had the same policy. Like all macy's have one, all pro stores have another.. etc..

It's worth a try! The worst thing they can do is say no. Then you can order pans and do the pro-store thing. I might order pans for my next B2M just so I CAN go to the pro-store. I want to B2M for an eyeshadow next time.

Spanky Here is what Razzledazzler looks like on me... probably better to show the color than hand swatch.
So I ordered Razzledazzler because of all the beautiful pictures including the beauty above. As I still am frustrated by the lasting time of Lustres I figure I won't wear them if I'm working or I won't be able to reapply easily. I am quite intrigued by RD, it will be here tomorrow I hope it will be here after I go in for another stupid test-argh. Here's hoping! Please send me good lippie vibes!!! Peachtwist I'm still trying to write you a proper email. Hope your doing well and keeping a smile in your heart!
[QUOTEMU ADD too, huh??? name="MRV" url="/t/179581/mac-heavenly-creature-discussion/1500#post_2237849"] Meteoric on lips! http://puritybeauty.se/?p=9555 She says: it's a soft coral red with some gold shimmer that does not show that much on the lips. Otherwise a typical CSG, lighter than Star Quality.
Looks like Metoric will not be on my list. Oh, what was I thinking? I don't have a damn list yet, because I don't know about this stuff & the swirl picking talk, which must be some top secret info. because only 2 nice people were willing to tell me & 1 of them was just surmising what it all meant. Thanks to the person who put the metering swatch link up. Much appreciated!

This might be kind of a weird suggestion... but I used to dust some translucent powder over lipsticks that I was afraid i would smear...it basically made them more of a matte and they stayed on a long time... I just used a crappy throwaway puff like the kind that came in cheap powder compacts, poofed it on once...sorta patted it in so it blended with the lipstick and that set it...

if you like the color but not the weartime...maybe try a lipliner all over first, then the RD, then powder it a bit? (yes, it did dry things out a bit, but i usually did it with something like red lipstick that was a bit too slick and smeary...)
