i just tried on stratus with earthshine as contour...
the glow i get from stratus looks so warm and plummy...a lot less towards the aubergine in the pan or even hand swatch...
there are a fair number of sparkles, but nothing outlandish...at least not in this light! maybe i'll have more to say tomorrow once i see it in daylight!

I really wanted to take advantage of the early release & free overnite shipping but I had already set a date to go to my fave MAC counter to swatch everything & put it all on hold till release day. So today I went & spent almost 2 hrs deliberating! They even let me swirl (squirrel lol) hunt & I hand picked each of my mineralize products!!! Ive never felt so close to an entire collection!!! lololol Everything is just gorgeous! Heres what I will be picking up on thursday...

Someone at the MAC counter told me the VAE is limited cuz the volcano they get the ash from doesnt erupt that often therefore they have limited supply of the ash for the product... Anyone else hear that?

I got my Heavenly Creature products in the mail today! Star Wonder is sooo pretty! It can be worn differently depending on where you swirl your brush and how light or heavy you apply it. I posted review and swatches of the different shades. I also got Cut a Caper. Love that pink coral color. Doesn't look as bright as the color on the actual tube! Check out the swatches!

I got a few of my items today and I am so in love with water MES! I'm usually not drawn to that type of color, but something about it was just too beautiful to say no. It looks so gorgeous on! I couldn't stop staring at my eyes all day. Also Ring of Saturn is a MUST! It isn't glittery whatsoever! It gives me that just got back from the beach glow! It looks really natural like I just came in from being out in the sun! I'm kinda iffy about meteoric. It's not as flattering on me as I had hoped. It looks a bit too orange on my lips. I'm going to try it again tomorrow. It's so gorgeous in the tube! I want to love it!

On another note, my resolve is slowly starting to weaken! I possibly want Earthshine MSF, Stratus MB, and Galaxy Rose CS. Someone, anyone... talk me out of it!
