Oh my Michelle, I didn't realize your oldest is 13! Wow, I can only imagine how grown up she must look, girls seem to look a lot older at that age than we did!
I will have to pm you soon about our decor. It was a long process picking out everything, and still a long process trying to figure out what I like enough to keep around for an extended period of time! I love love love white kitchens, always wanted on, but when I had the opportunity with our builder, I made a huge mistake in going to the actual cabinet company and speaking with a rep there. He picked up on how OCD I am and scared me off of the white. We ended up going with maple cabinets in a light chestnut stain, which is nice too, but ya, should've stuck with my gut! Hubby and I have talked about refinishing the island in an antique white, but that's definitely not a priority! But seriously, message me if you have any questions. It took us almost two months to pick all of our finishes, and in hindsight, there's definitely a few things we would've done differently. How exciting that they have started with the foundation!
Elegant, I love the description of your pillows! One set I purchased has a butterfly and a couple of flowers with some words written on it as well!
And to stay on topic, I am really liking the swatches of Caractere, I wish it was a Rouge Allure though. It's hard to even think about the fall right now though when it's so hot and humid out!
