I think this collection is wearing them out. The girl I talked to sounded worn out:)

I imagine they panicked when they got the zillion orders with overnight shipping! Hope you get your things soon :)

I think I might just go straight ahead and get all the MSFs and MBs, and some MES (Earthly, Water, Neo Nebula, Aurora and maybe Sky).
I just know that I'll end up regretting not buying what I want, and if they don't work for me then I'm sure someone on here will kindly take them off my hands!
Yes, I regret not getting Light Year and Star Wonder. Just such amazing MSFs. :)

I'm wondering if I should visit Nordstrom counter today? Hmmm.

I loveloveLOVE Earthly! It's the most gorgeous brownish taupe I own. It's so pretty with its golden sparkles!
Mine has much less brown swirling than Christine's, though.

I wore it today with Blitz&Glitz and that's a look I could honestly wear every day. It's so effortless and chic!

I think you can live without it. I don't see myself using it much.

Thank you both. Unfortunately, I am unable to swatch in store as there is nowhere anywhere near me that sells MAC - the nearest is a very expensive, long bus ride away. If it's that bright that both of you had to put something over it to tone it down, then I'm sure it's too bright for me, too, since I'm probably about NW10. It does look so pretty in the pan, though

Not sure if this helps, but I also skipped it. There are better bright pink blushes though it still looks very pretty in the pan.

Thank you, that's helped to confirm it. I can't really afford to buy it just to have it sit there looking pretty in the pan.

OK, here's some comparison swatches on NC30/35

Just trying to show the brightness of SN for those who are wondering if they "need" it. I think Azalea (MAC PRO Pan blush from my girl Shellcat! Thanks babe!) is a gorgeous bright pink blush. NOT an exact dupe, but probably would look close to SN's pink on the cheek. Add some golden shimmer and I think it would be close to SN for those that can't get it. My real point is, that I personally didn't "need" SN since I have Azalea. I can make Azalea work as a bright pink blush if that's what I'm going for. And I can add or leave out the golden shimmer. SN is very pretty though, and I'm happy I have it. But not a "must have" in my personal collection.

L-R: Salsarose, Supernova, Azalea, Fleet Fast, Early Morning

I try to be anti-enabled on Supernova, but it's not working. I need it for the name, cause i'm a nerd and a weirdo

Still. No. Power. At least my phone has internet access today, so I'm finally all caught up with the HC thread. My 2nd black box also arrived yesterday. I got 5 MES and BUs of Fire Sign and Meteoric. I'll swatch and post pictures of the MES once the power is restored. I know the different swirls can result in different colors. I still plan to visit a counter Thursday to see more things in person. That will be my last haul for this collection if I do decide to get anything else. It'll be fun to throw a little swirl hunting into the mix since this is my first mineralize collection. I may opt to swirl hunt for next year's collection now that I know what to do.

Here's my HC haul...

And a sad casualty of UPS shipping... Poor UA! MAC replaced it, but THIS one had a MUCH nicer swirl! Reminder that these soft mineralized products do NOT make for good traveling companions!

HeeHee I know what you mean! That's why I HAD to have it despite NOT needing another super bright pink blush! Enjoy it sweetie... It'll look great on you!

I was pretty excited about my gorgeous burgundy swirl in my Earthshine... but NOW I'm thinking of going and hand-picking one with lots less since it seems those are working better on the face!? I'm NC30/35 for reference if anyone has an opinion on this. I haven't tried my Earthshine yet, and I don't want to use it until I'm sure I'm keeping it.

If you don't have anything like it... DEFINTELY get it! It's really pretty and the gold gives it a nice sheen. I wanna see a pic of it on your face too girlie! ENJOY!!

LOL, I know what you mean about the names. I wanted to like Aurora (it's latin for Dawn, the goddess of the dawn) and Cusp Of Dawn as my name is Dawn and I was born on the cusp of Cancer and Leo so the names were perfect, but unfortunately they aren't the prettiest of colours so I skipped.

There are some great names in this collection, though.

My first post on Specktra! I had to, these MSFs are so beautiful!

Here are two swatches. Center of The Universe on NC15 skin.
And Star Wonder (my personal favorite)

If I order for store pickup on Nordie's website can I pick it up today? Even though this launches on Thurs?
At my nords if I order online someone from cust service goes & pulls the products, if I call its one of the MAs at the counter, sometimes the cust service people will give me stuff early if I order online, sometimes the MAs will, but sometimes they won't lol. anyhow you can call & order by phone & if they say no then you can try & do an online order. ugh does that all make any sense? lol
