i don't have many mac lipsticks but one that i do enjoy wearing a lot is 'made with love'. i'm not fond of the lustre formula because it never wears well on its own so i always put a medium pink lip liner under it and it stays for a good amount of time. so i would say any other pinks like that? i do also like red on my lips and that's usually my go to: dark smokey eye and a red lip!

NW20 is a pretty common color, you could wear almost any color family (I'd really only say stay away with brown-browns).. I tend to be NW20 for a good part of the year, and find that I can wear almost anything... It's just about making sure that the rest of your makeup all goes with it.

yeah, i don't like browns on me either. i tend to look really tired and/or dead when i try to wear them :\ so i mainly stick to greys/blacks and blues!

Oh i meant browns on the lips, you could definitely do them on your eyes. Anyone could.

I'm NW 20 and I love nude/pinkish lipsticks and glosses.. I think they compliment my skintone very well 
along with a mixture of me thinking nothing bold would like right either.
I also love browns on the lids, but for some reason whenever I try pink eyeshadows or pigments, I feel like it makes me look sick ! Maybe it is just me thought

I'm NW20 but I have very pigmented pink-reddish lips. In my case, most nude lipsticks turn out either pink or peach on me which I don't mind tbh. Pinks, oranges, and corals compliment me very well and I wear them either bold and opaque or sheer and soft. Red is good too, but I think that one is a personal choice since there are so many shades of red out there.
I second the person who mentioned to stay away from the brown brown lipsticks. I also avoid plum and several purple lipsticks because I can't pull it off .
As for eyeshadows, I usually go for blues, blacks, greys with shimmer, antique golds, and a few neutral shades. I don't wear red, red tone purples, and plum because they make me look like I got beaten up. I'm not fond of really light pastel colors and glittery shadows on eyes.

Plum: I've recently discovered MAC Plumful lipstick as a beautiful plum shade, which is not too dark for my skin (NW20 in winter), because it is sheer
Everyday: Creme Cup is my favourite everyday lipstick, its a medium to light powdery pink
Pink: I also love a strong pink lip from time to time and use MAC Impassioned (although it might not be 100% for a light skin as its quite bright, but I like it paired with a neutral eye, Naked Lunch warmed up with Cork in the crease).
Nude: For nude lips try MAC Myth - I literally never wear nude lips as it makes me look really pale, but this specific lipstick actually worked (with greys on the eyes - Copperplate and Smut)
With red though, I'm not there yet... have tried Russian Red, but I find it makes me really pale, although its the right undertone (blue).... does anyone have recommendations here?
