I prefer the simple St. Ives scrub or Lush Fresh Face Masks which I scrub off with oats or sugar before washing up. Or just slapping half a mashed avocado with a little olive oil and honey on my face while I eat the other half with my cheese and avocado spread sandwich!

Do let us know how you get on with your test run with VAE! :)
Sucks about MAC making most of the items that matter, LE! I guess its part of creating a hype. IF it was around all the time, people would spend their money on other LE products!
Thank you for the recs, I'll take a look at those. I am still on the fence about whether or not I'll try VAE but I am definitely open to any options.

Omg so today i went to my MAC store because I LOVE earthly and i wanted a BU. It suits my skin REALLY well. The swirls in the store were 10x better than what the warehouse gave me! lol. it made want to "re-pick" ALL my current ones LOL. The one on the left is store picked, right side is warehouse picked. Its a darn shame....
Love both of your Earthlys. The one on the left would be great for swirling all shades together and the right one would be good for picking out colors. Love it!

I'm really into bronzer now and Earthshine works great for that, but since you are much darker than me it won't have the same effect on you. I love my Goldstone so I expected to at least like ES (and I love it), but if you're not using Goldstone and Comfort a lot you might better leave ES. The best way to use pigmented blushes/powders is to use a duo fibre brush and to just dab it in the product. I think that could work for most people. Early Morning + Light Year sounds like a nice combo, but I think RoS will be a bit lighter but similar in colour. I'm sure you'll like CotU! It's great for darker skin. It's nice that you have more time to decide before things sell out.
I guess it might depend on just how much darker the skintone, but on me Goldstone and Earthsine are extremely different...Goldstone adds very subtle glow, while Earthshine shows up loud and clear! I don't know exacttly how similar Early Morning and Ring of Saturn are, but I passed on the first after swatching in person, and bought the latter online...Now I'm wondering if that was a wise decision, as though I like the colour, the shimmer factor has been a bit much so far. I might try using one of the more 'fluffy' duo fibre brushes though, because with the one that came out with extra dim, I'm picking up too much product it seems!

Makes two of us!! Gosh, I've added at least two more items on my list in the last 24 hours, thanks to Specktra. How will I ever save up for Marilyn!

Thanks! Which one are you missing? I started with Galaxy Rose, and each time I went back to the store, I would end up leaving with another, like today with Celestial Kiss. I say go for it!
I got all of the CSGs except Strictly Plutonic because it's similar to Over Indulgence. But at this point, I'm just going to complete the set. My Over Indulgence is about to be empty anyway.

Has anyone tried the Moisture Gel? I just ran out my moisturizer and I'm wondering if that would be a good one for summer.
Haven't tried the gel, but I have used their face creams and have not yet faced any issues, except with one of their silicone based primer, one in a dinky black bottle...which made me breakout. I have sensitive skin and I still feel they really do make lovely face moisturizers. I highly recommend trying it in-store as you will feel an almost immediate difference and the foundation/ make up will go on smoother. And gels are safer since they don't clod your pores so there is minimal/ nil chance of break-outs, if you have sensitive skin.

Do you have a powder brush? I actually apply most of blushes with a powder brush. Until recently, I've never liked the look of strong cheeks so I've always used powder blushes to lightly apply blush. I currently used a 136 to apply most of my blushes. Since the duo fiber brushes have launched, I've been using those more and more. But now my taste has changed and I am liking a stronger blush look. I have a Versace blush brush but I'm looking to invest in another traditional blush brush most likely the 116. Now that I think of it I used the 136 for the Ring of Saturn. So give a powder brush a shot and see if that helps before you give up on the product or rush out and buy a new brush. Oh and the Extra Dimension brush (that was the two sided one right? That one is pretty compact so I would imagine it would pick up a ton of color.

I believe this is the first time. I don't remember seeing anything for the Wonder Woman launch. I'm checking it out either tomorrow or Thursday and will report back in the Early Buzz thread! Although, I doubt there will be any real info out since the launch is so far away! I can't waiiiiiiiiiiit!
I'm definitely going to check that thread. I have yet to make my way out to SDCC, or Anime Expo for that matter.

I have a sample of VAE and it's good to me but I find that Lush is still better ^^ I also think that Vae is not arsh, but I have a terrible skin I can even use Lush Ocean salt everyday! So I think it's good, really good but not worth the money while you can buy (here in Italy) 4 pots of Lush Love Lettuce instead of a bottle of Vae.

Yes do pick it up, do!! You will love it! Did you pick up any of the other MSFs?
Yes, I got Earthshine and I love it. I'm NW45 and even though I swatched SW and loved it too I thought maybe I could do w/o it. But after seeing pics and swatches I'm pretty sure I'll be picking one up later this week.

guess who dropped their newly purchased, not swatched, or photographed earthshine on the floor and it is now cracked.... sigh... LOL
I dropped my Aurora MES too and it was my favorite one. I can't believe this MES isn't getting love, it is the perfect fleshy pink I have been looking for, and in MES form as well. I haven't tried Universal Appeal yet, but it is the prettiest in the pan. Okay, Magnetic Attraction is a REAL close second. Swirl hypnosis in effect here...

How soon can we expect a re-stock on MAC's site? I know they've been getting better about that, but I never really paid attention since I always got my want list during the first round. I know I could always use Macys, Nordstrom, etc, but I prefer MAC's packing methods.

Lol, your lips are fine. And I thought the same thing when I took pictures of myself swatching different lipsticks. It's like I knew I had full lips, but I didn't realize they were *that* big.
Hee hee thank you. I guess thats why they have a preview button on here. It was my first time posting a pic and I submitted it and then saw it and said OH NO! I haven't tried Light Year yet, I love the other three MSF's and I was going to give it a try tomorrow. I'll let you know my two cents after I use it.

I have both and I don't think they're quite the same. Obviously as you said RoS has shimmer whereas EM is matte. My guesstimate is that RoS is more rosy and EM more brown, but we'll see. I also think RoS is much more blendable than EM, which gets kind of spotty on me. It was rainy today so I don't have good lighting, but I will gladly take a pic of the two swatched next to each other when the weather decides to cooperate. I also need to compare LY and Perfect Topping.
