Over the weekend, I lost my MES virginity! I wanted to wade gently into the waters, so (thanks to Pretty Kitty's lovely FOTD enabling) I started with Earthly.

Holy smokes, when I was at the counter on Friday, their Earthly was already broken! Made me so sad (and overly cautious).

After triple checking that my MES was safe and unbroken (knock on wood), I brought it home and was itching to try it out. At first, I thought I would try the Jaunty/Earthly look that Pretty Kitty posted, but decided to go w/ a smoky-ish eye since I was going out later that night.

Earthly (used dry) on the lid, Mystery to deepen the crease/outer third, Soba to blend it all out and I think Blanc Type as a highlight (can't remember). I also used Soft Ochre PP as a base and TFSI as a primer. (sorry for the weird pics, only had my phone with me that day). Loved that I was able to smoke it out without being overly dramatic.

I always avoided MES b/c I thought they'd irritate my eyes and fallout would be a pain, but Earthly was surprisingly easy to work with! I'm really excited to try more looks with it and can't wait to see how it looks foiled (which I've never before! Exciting).

Thinking about picking up Neo Nebula next. Pinkdollface posted a lovely look using NN with Sketch!

Wow you are gorgeous. I love the look. I think I could even pull this off because my complexion and eye color are somewhat similar to yours. My husband is going to think I'm nuts if come home with anymore makeup haha!

Is Strictly Plutonic a must have? It was originally on my want list, but I've been so sidetracked by all the other amazing items from this collection, that I haven't even thought to swatch it.

Thank you all so much for being so kind and welcoming. I wish I had joined a long time ago.

Thanks! The shadows in this collection are really nice. The only two I didn't like texturewise were Invincible Light and Water. I love love love the MSFs! They just melt into my skin!

Thank you! If you can get away with buying it, you should. Earthly is so easy to work with and can dressed up or down, so to speak.

Hi ladies do u think that star wonder is a must have for women of color or is it a miss
At first, I swatched Star Wonder and Ring of Saturn side by side, and all I saw was shimmer. After about a minute, the colour seemed to warm up on my skin. The MA layered RoS and SW on my cheek, and there was a nice glow. I got a SW with more of the purple swirl and less gold. I wore it today over Dollymix, thanks to Crystalis' suggestion!

I love the swirls in your Sky mes! I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. I hope it looks at least half as good as your's!

Thank you so much. I was lucky since I ordered online and had no idea how the products would look. I can't wait to try it out. Right now it looks so pretty that I'm afraid to use it!

For me personally, yes, it is a lovely gloss. It's a subtle and seemingly boring color, yet it adds a little something to your bare lips that makes you look more poised. I chose it over Meteroric, which was pretty meh to me the moment I tried it on my lips (can't understand all the hype about it). It's easy to wear, which I like. For me, I would think Strictly Plutonic would look good on its own, whereas Meteroric would probably be a better gloss for layering over lipsticks. That's just my opinion. Swatch it or try it on, if possible! Lip products are my main weakness, and I'll have to say Strictly Plutonic really blew me away unexpectedly. I do not regret buying it. :))

Look at your GORGEOUS Warm Blend!!! ***drools***

I've been mucking about my msfs trying to find something that looks like Earthshine and no luck.

I thought maybe So Ceylon - because of the burgundy - but no go.

Perhaps New Vegas because of the light gold?

I don't own NV.

I wasn't into msfs when that one was released.

From top left: Warm Blend, Semi Precious Goldstone, So Ceylon, Gold Deposit, Gold Spill, Earthshine (in the middle). A truly unique shade.
