Omg so today i went to my MAC store because I LOVE earthly and i wanted a BU. It suits my skin REALLY well. The swirls in the store were 10x better than what the warehouse gave me! lol. it made want to "re-pick" ALL my current ones LOL. The one on the left is store picked, right side is warehouse picked. Its a darn shame....
The one on the left may be prettier, but I think the one on the right is more versatile. You can use the colours seperately more easily with that one.

Oops, just saw that Icecaramallatte suggested the same thing...

Thanks everyone :) xo
Your Aurora looks really cool! And your Earthly has the perfect mixture of the three colors, and you got a really nice Stratus! I got mine today, and it has more terrcotta than burgundy. It comes out more red on the skin because of that, but I still love it. I think this is my favorite product from the whole collection!

Glad someone was so nice to get one for me and swap with me for it. Can't believe I almost missed out on it!

I woud like to have another one with more burgundy though, but it's sold out and I'm broke too, LOL. So I'm praying to the makeup gods that I will luck out and find a more burgundy one for a reasonable price on eBay some time in the future. Which probably won't happen, but a blush addict can dream, right?!

i am loving the cheek products i got from this collection! i got star wonder, light year and ring of saturn. i wore ring of saturn yesterday and with a light hand it is one stunning blush! i also bought fire sign lipstick and have gotten plenty of compliments on it when i have worn it. plus for a lustre it is reasonably pigmented! :)
MAC really seems to put more pigment in their lustre finishes. I hope they keep it up!

Stratus is beautiful! I just tried it on for the first time. I used my 131 brush and it works great for Stratus. I will use that brush with Supernova as well.

Nima,

My msf thanks you! It loves compliments!

Oh no, I'm keeping it. I purchased a b/up with more burgundy but I'm actually using this one.

This is such a unique shade - I'm smitten with it.

I guess we have to remember that these are hand poured and baked so of course they are all different.

But I like the excess of burgundy.
I read somewhere on internet (don't know where) that Heavenly Creature products came from layered rolled up 'logs' like sushi. That's how they got their swirls.

Ohh, bf is at Comic Con right now. He works in the convention business and he always brings me back tons of giveaways. But, I guess they weren't giving any makeup away :D That would have been cool.

I don't know exacttly how similar Early Morning and Ring of Saturn are, but I passed on the first after swatching in person, and bought the latter online...Now I'm wondering if that was a wise decision, as though I like the colour, the shimmer factor has been a bit much so far. I might try using one of the more 'fluffy' duo fibre brushes though, because with the one that came out with extra dim, I'm picking up too much product it seems!
Me too, it's too metallic for me. I don't mind sparkle, little shimmer etc but metallic is hard to do on the cheek for me. But I did wear it yesterday on the high cheekbone as a highlighter over Nars Deep Throat. And I felt semi-safe to leave the house. Only used such a teeeny bit on brush and it still really showed up strong color. And boy it lasted ALL day too. So, still working on RoS. I kept it because I don't want to hear youtubers singing about it for the next two years, and have return remorse.

Thankyou for looking :) I'm struggling to keep up with this collection lol I guess more burgundy in stratus is good as I think red wouldn't look good on me :) Good luck with your search :)

I think I might back up Neo Nebula, but one with a lot of pink in...
It's similar to my beloved Daylight MES, and that one is flat already

can't believe I didn't buy another one!

nice pemily! your stratus looks similar to mine...the thing about the swirls being from sushi is interesting...I had pictured people hovering over little pots with a toothpick, marbling the makeup like cakes.... I wore earthly yesterday all over lid and gilt by association lightly in crease....black line on upper lash line... I got a compliment from a male colleague....I was kind of surprised because I thought the look seemed very 'everyday'....I guess that's a good thing! I'm giving ros another try today, though very very lightly with a 187. it's still pretty intense. metallic as you say baysaz....I'm going to wait till I get to work to give a verdict. everything's different in natural light.....

I tried this last because I want a Neo Nebula with more purple in it lol but Inglot 399 and UD Bordello are both very similar to NN. But I don't care, you know because you can adjust the color of NN to make it more pink or purple! That's my justification in getting a BU lol.

I've left mechanical exfoliators far behind too. I would have been interested in the mask, though. Is it just me or have facial masks been out of style lately? People don't have the time to sit around and luxuriate with one?
I thought the mask was horrible, it felt like it was taking my skin off, bit by bit. The way I use the exfoliator is by applying it to my damp skin, then let it sit for a while and then wash it off, so I am more using it like a mask and less like a scrub.

oh ITA, I cannot do too much metallic on the cheek, it just looks to fake for me. I love my shimmer and microglitter is tolerable but not the dreaded fish scale cheeks

Any pale girls kind of freak out when they saw how ORANGE Center of the Universe looked? I was thinking no way would it work, way more orange than Modern Mandarin, which had to be seriously buffed on me, but it worked great. I layered with a tiny smidge of Fleet Fast to keep it from being too golden for work. I love that combo--Fleet Fast plus CotU.

I can't wait to play with Earthshine tomorrow. I think I will try to layer it with either Equilibrium or Tenderling...

Still bummed that my Aurora MES shattered. It is still really pretty. I guess repressing is out of the question, right?

Here are pics of my Ring of Saturn and back up of Earthshine. I'm happy that my Earthshine BU has the same amount of all the colours as my first one did. I hoped for a RoS with more red at first, but hearing how pigmented it is I'm happy with this one.

And for comparison my first Earthshine.
