Thank you so much for the swatches, Shellcat!!! I was wondering about Venus and Gem of Roses, too.
I went to Macy's this evening to see the collection one more time. I brought my Viva Glam Cyndi and Gem of Roses with me. Although one was slightly warmer than the other, Cyndi and Fire Sign looked closed enough on my skin. Venus was pretty. It looked similar to Lustering. (Hope I was not fooled by the store lighting. LOL) Ring of Saturn was beautiful, but I could not decide on it. I left the store empty handed.

I cannot wait to wear Star Wonder over Weekend Getaway. Thanks for the suggestion, liba! If I buy one more item from this collection, it would be Ring of Saturn. Agree, it's a sexy summer blush. It swatched beautifully on my skin. I might just settle with Light Year though.MES I've used the most so far:
WATER!!! I made sure to get one without hardly any dark blue and mostly lots of the seafoam green. It comes out a really clear pastel green on me - a very 70's peacock green. Reminds me of my mother's favorite Borghese eyeshadow when I was a kid...I used to open it up and gaze at how sparkly and bright it looked.
I thought it was going to be a color only for nights out, but I love it so much, I just slap it on my lids for daytime, applied dry and then spritzed after with Fix+, then use a little CotU or RoS in the crease and soft brown shadow under the eye (I particularly like the brown Crushed Metal pigment from last year's Summer Stash set). I think it'll look great for daytime with Industrial pearlglide under the lower lash line too.
MSF I've used the most so far:
Star Wonder!! Is it any wonder we're all using Star Wonder? It's such an easy, no brainer color for brightening up the face. It's great for a soft cheek look or underneath or on top of a stronger color. It's GORG applied over Weekend Getaway. Also GORG applied underneath Supernova, to tone it down a smidge.
I haven't been much in the mood for bronzer yet this year, since I still want to rock all my bright pinks and light corals from the spring, and with a deep tan, I prefer myself in reds, oranges and more mid-tone shades. CotU is so beautiful and it matches my natural tan perfectly, so I'll wind up using it as much as SW before too long - just will have to say bye bye to Flamingo, Force of Love and Reel Sexy when I wear it, unless I want a retro look (or a Jersey Shores look, lol).
MB I've used the most so far:
Ring of Saturn!! It's the sexy summer version of my most used blush this year - Early Morning. I love the sheen it's got, and it just lasts and lasts....this batch of MBs is even longer lasting than the Naturally ones, it seems to me. I get lots of compliments wearing it - it looks great with red lips. I REALLY need to find my missing Sail La Vie, which I'd love wearing with it. I hope it turns up soon and hasn't just been lost for good. I LOVED Bi-tone MB from a couple years ago, but this one pretty much is superior to it in every way.
Lippie I'e used the most so far:
It's a three-way tie between Cusp of Dawn, Venus and Astral right now, but I haven't busted out Strictly Plutonic, Galaxy Rose or Meteoric yet. I'm honestly overloaded with lipsticks and glosses right now and am trying to cycle through everything as much as possible. I do think my favorite lipstick from HC is Cusp of Dawn, as a thoroughly modern looking nude - it's not remotely retro in any way, and I love it for that! My fave gloss hasn't been decided yet (I bought 'em all, except for Celestial Kiss, which I also almost got), but so far, Astral is the most striking. Strictly Plutonic is like last year's Krazy Kahuna, though....just "off" enough to be unusual, while not being too overdone for summertime hijinx.
Wow, what an awesome collection! I wish I had ten heads so I could do all the things I want to do with all the beautiful products from this one!

They're a bit messy because I've been using everything. And you can barely see the swirl in solar ray because I picked such a tiny one (on purpose). I love these products so much.
I just love this collection so much. My fave MAC collection thus far. Left QC in the dust!

It's really invigorated a lot of people towards MAC again, from what it seems. It's gotten me all hot and bothered, for sure...

If I had to pick one or the other, I'd pick RoS over Light Year for sure. There will be more blushes in shades similar to RoS coming up, though.

I feel like to complete my haul I should also buy Earthshine, Strictly plutonic.. and take a better look at Venus and Center of the universe since everyone seems to love them^^ but I'm afraid I can't really afford everything.. september will be a month full of stuff for us (in Italy we should have By request, style seeker, ruffian)... anyway we have reached page 200 wohooooo!!

LOVE ur swirls!!!!!!!! I think u just convinced me to get Earthly.Finally uploaded my MES pics. These were all ordered online. The swatches didn't come out right, so I have to redo them tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be so cloudy and I'll have more sunlight. After playing with Sky some more, I still don't have that "happy I bought it" feeling. I don't think I'm keeping it. Any takers?

Very nice swirls, especially your earthlyI added Earthly and Universal Appeal to my collection this week! An MUA friend picked the swirls for me and I LOVE them!
I really love purples, but i didn't pick up Universal Appeal the first time because it swatched just plain brown in the store.
Might look into it again tomorrow, maybe if i get one with alot of the purple color, we'll see ..

I think earthly must be a sensitive MES. Mine was also shattered when I received it I took it in to a store and they exchanged it.I've lost my MINDDDDDDD! I backed up a MSF (LY) That I wasn't even going to get!
THEN, I received my next online order and opened my box to ANOTHER shattered MES!! Earthly looked like someone smashed it against a tabletop 20 times! I have NEVER seen a shadow THIS messed up! When I called MAC to replace it, I INSISTED they send me a shipping label so I could send it back to them to show them just HOW BAD IT WAS!

When I opened my black box I thought... Oh wow, MAC is using new tissue paper! Because there was gold and brown dust everywhere!
SOOOO... My HC hauling, replacing, and backing up continues!

I picked up Magnetic Attraction but none of the others really called my name.
Universal Attraction is pretty in the pan but I wasn't too crazy about the swatch.
Earthy was just a bit too grey brown.
What are everybody's absolute fans.?

The better ones have more purple than the green and darker color. Also it does look better wet if there isn't much purple in it.
Neo Nebula became a favorite out of nowhere!

Wow, it's amazing how it can look pink on some and orange on another! What's your color in MAC or are you too fair? Guhh I really hope it'll work on me.I want to love Light Year but the shade and me are having a difference of option on my skin.
