i saw these in the store yesterday, but i didn't get a chance to touch them.

The MAC rep said that they had a sponge-y like texture to them, and they had lots of pigmentation.

i will try to go back tomorrow and see if i can get some photos for you all! :) or maybe tonight. we will see.
Trying to scale back after HC but it doesnt' look promising lol

They are not on Nordstrom for the early access sale. Just the bags and brush sets are up.
Yup. My Nordies MAC SA thought it would be too 'til she opened some binder of theirs (the collection release schedule? their bible?) and it said August for Electric Cool.

Nordstrom will release these on 7/19. Then the collection "goes wide" in August.

I would compare their texture to those of the l'Oreal Infallibles. Close, but not exactly. They seem to be one of the new cream to powder hybrid kind of shadows. These are smoother, finer milled, blend better, don't fade at all & the colours are more multi-dimensional in the light, although the newer infallibles (Candy collection out now) are closer to the Armani ones with multi-colours in the pot.
This is what i like to hear... let us wash away those big bonce shadows. lol

I have several waiting for me at Nordies - Love Power & Pure Flash are great highlight colors, and a couple of the standouts are Brilliantly Lit and Coil. I couldn't resist Infra-Violet and Fashion Circuit, Electroplate and Superwatt. I wanted to love Dynamo, but was a bit on the fence with it - I may decide I need it. But the colors are gorgeous and my SA said the wear was fabulous - these should not be called 'Bounce 2.0'. Nothing like the original.........

My Mac SA told me they were packaged this way intentionally to maintain moisture & if you dropped the pot, you would just have to repress the shadow & voila, like new again!

If I could take a decent picture I would upload some swatches, but I'm afraid you really should see these in person to get the full effect of the colours. They really are gorgeous shadows & I will be going back for the 2 purple shades for sure!

Hope this helps someone out!

This is what I like to hear... let us wash away the memory of Big Bounce and Metal-X Cream shadows.
The Candy collection once where pretty nice. ^_^

great swatches spanky! I swatches these this afternoon at the bay downtown. I looooooved them all. I couldn't for obvious reasons buy them all, so I settled for fashion circuit, coil and super watt. so those must be my faves. I didn't find fashion circuit should be called 'green', but whatever. in my mind it's teal! the black was what I thought I was going to get with super watt, but on me it switched super sparkly. the textures are so beautiful, can't wait to wear them on my eyes! if these are still around in a few weeks, I'd go back for the coral and the cobalt.

The best SA called me on Tuesday night & said you are not going to believe the Electric Cool shadows. She doesn't ever call me, as I call her a few days before the release date and remind her to hold my things. Therefore, when she called I knew this must be a unique product. She's so awesome to me.

Please let me know if I posted the swatches in the right thread. I was confused & thinking these were going to be the Illustrated ESs, but the swatches I posted are definitely the Electric Cool Shadows.

I didn't quite know what to expect with the texture of the Electric Cool Shadows, I wasn't around for Big Bounce, therefore I can't make any comparisons. The Electric Cool shadows are spongy & really cool to feel. I don't know about the crease factor, as I wasn't up to putting them on. I just grabbed the ones I felt I couldn't live without & some I won't use often but couldn't walk away from. The swatches I posted were me using the sponge applicators & you do have to layer, but they are so beautiful in person. The pearlized pigments really make the colors so beautiful in person. I loved the ED shadows from the moment I swatched them, I think these are going to be just as exciting & cool as the ED shadows.

Also, about a month ago Allura posted Estee Lauder's Fall promo pictures. I did not take my normal route to the MAC counter and I swear this display jumped in my path, seriously...as it's release date is listed as August. I have never bought any EL MU, but was very intrigued by the Violet Underground palette because I think it is supposed to be similar to the ED shadows formula (correct me if I'm wrong). It was beautiful to look at, but didn't feel like I couldn't live without it. The bronze color is beautiful, so hopefully EL or MAC will release something similar to this. I was very interested in the two matte lippies with the collection, as they looked really beautiful in the promo pictures. Violet Crush is not a color I would ever gravitate towards & Black Cassis is something I would have died for in the late 90's/early 2000's but just fell out of wearing such goth, vampy colors. Well...both of them somehow made it into my bag...they are both beautiful & the matte texture seems really nice (I like mattes, Ruby Woo being one of my favs). I think that Violet Crush might satisfy some of the longings for intriguing violet shades and/or those of us who missed the boat on some of these type colors in MAC's LE releases (there have been so many). Black Cassis will be a great fall shade or those of us who don't mind a little walk on the vamp side. I can't wait to wear these, as they are so different from my red lip obsession.

After an especially hard few weeks & such a horrible Tues, I totally did some major retail therapy!

Also, heard some RAVE REVIEWS about MARILYN. I am so siked for the Marilyn Collx I feel like October may never come.

I've been so out of the loop & miss you guys, so I hope I made my absence up by posting swatches! Hoping to catch up & post my HC pictures.

Hope everyone is doing really well!
