£22 each?? Ouch!!
Yes, I thought that was a lot when I saw that. If that is correct, I can only imagine the Euro price.

That would be more than any MAC e/s ever before, I think. Chanel-like prices. Right now I'm assuming that number is a mistake. Or the currency, maybe it's 22 Euro? Or dollars? It does seem false.

Well the Chanel Illusion D'Ombres are £23, so MAC are really taking the mickey if they want to charge £22 for this

I immediately thought of the Illusion D'Ombre too. I think most people would choose Chanel over MAC if they're looking to buy an eyeshadow in that price range.
I will try to find out the german price for these.

I think I'm going to skip these. Brilliantly Lit and Fashion Circuit look similar to colours I already have and I need to save for other collections. Switch to Blue doesn't look as cobalt as I wanted it to be. I think Velocity from sugarpill is more what I want.

I think it's a highly personal thing. The problem isn't so much how old you are (or at least, that's more in your mind), but what signs of aging your body shows. I might feel like I could rock a miniskirt and tube top into my eighties (I don't), but if my legs are covered in varicose veins and my lady lumps are level with my hips, I'm going to have to admit that that get-up is not going to make me look my best. With makeup, I feel like there are lots of great things that I would want to wear, but I also know that very frosty formulas, for instance, call attention to the fact that my eyelids have gotten kind of "crepe-y" as I've aged. Also, those formulas have a tendency to migrate into the fine lines around my eyes, which makes them more obvious- absolutely not what I'm going for in a look.

Some people feel less comfortable with certain shades or textures as they age, but in terms of being "too old" for something, it's really more about knowing how what flatters you changes as you get older.
Absolutely! Frosts are not flattering to me now. I love some of the VP and my few paint pots that are a little shimmery (Rubenesque and Indianwood), but I tend to combine them with satin or matte e/s. It's not a 'oh I'm over 40 so won't wear x' thing; it's that others look better on me.

On a related note, I'd like to know how my 17 year-old daughter somehow managed to steal my ass when I wasn't looking. I swear mine looked like that what feels like 15 minutes ago, but then something happened!

I tried Dynamo this morning. First I wandered around the house trying to find someone who could open it for me, finally hubby managed.

I knew when I swatched them that Dynamo wasn't as pigmented as the others so I packed it on as my SA suggested and it is just fabulous. It blends so easily, I love that. I put Dynamo on my lid and under eye, brown eyeliner to tightline and outer lower corner, Soft Brown in the outer V and crease and a bit of melon pigment on the centre of the lid -- I am in love. My 19 year old daughter commented right away how pretty it looked.

So happy I got Dynamo.

First official product photo's I've seen.
http://www.beautezine.com/mac-electric-cool-collection-for-fall-2012-photos-information/

I'm curious to the ones that have it in hand it their a product that feel similar to them in finish. I'm thinking these might be closer to my Yaby Pearl Paints which feel like the L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow/Armani Eyes to Kill. also do these have silicon/dimethicone as a higher ingredient in them?

Fashion Circuit and Dynamo are call my name but partly because my Yaby palette doesn't have these shades. Maybe plan a trip to the Waterloo Bay. lol

I use a lot of orange/peach/gold tone on a daily bases so Dynamo will probably get as much love as my Mega Metal Tweet Me.

Actually now that i think about it does the box/label say Made in Canada? In the past when a new product formulation was made the Canada stores would get them first if they where made here.
