Yes, I thought that was a lot when I saw that. If that is correct, I can only imagine the Euro price.£22 each?? Ouch!!
Well the Chanel Illusion D'Ombres are £23, so MAC are really taking the mickey if they want to charge £22 for thisYes, I thought that was a lot when I saw that. If that is correct, I can only imagine the Euro price. That would be more than any MAC e/s ever before, I think. Chanel-like prices. Right now I'm assuming that number is a mistake.
I immediately thought of the Illusion D'Ombre too. I think most people would choose Chanel over MAC if they're looking to buy an eyeshadow in that price range.Well the Chanel Illusion D'Ombres are £23, so MAC are really taking the mickey if they want to charge £22 for this

Exactly.I think the concern with the shimma(lol) is that it will accentuate items that don't want even be noticed in the first place ie pores, wrinkles, crows feet etc.
Absolutely! Frosts are not flattering to me now. I love some of the VP and my few paint pots that are a little shimmery (Rubenesque and Indianwood), but I tend to combine them with satin or matte e/s. It's not a 'oh I'm over 40 so won't wear x' thing; it's that others look better on me.I think it's a highly personal thing. The problem isn't so much how old you are (or at least, that's more in your mind), but what signs of aging your body shows. I might feel like I could rock a miniskirt and tube top into my eighties (I don't), but if my legs are covered in varicose veins and my lady lumps are level with my hips, I'm going to have to admit that that get-up is not going to make me look my best. With makeup, I feel like there are lots of great things that I would want to wear, but I also know that very frosty formulas, for instance, call attention to the fact that my eyelids have gotten kind of "crepe-y" as I've aged. Also, those formulas have a tendency to migrate into the fine lines around my eyes, which makes them more obvious- absolutely not what I'm going for in a look.
Some people feel less comfortable with certain shades or textures as they age, but in terms of being "too old" for something, it's really more about knowing how what flatters you changes as you get older.
Me too!im getting both Coil and SuperWatt
