I went to Macys today & got Light Year - how gorgeous is that on!!!

I can't believe that I didn't get it the first time. I got to pick one with a huge ring of the darker rose & all the rest was the light peachy pink & just a small thin ring of gold in the center. I LOVE LOVE it on. I wore Galaxy Rose today - GORGEOUS color! I also bought the 234 duo fiber eyeshadow brush.

I also bought Cliniques Chubby (

) Stick lip balm pencil in Two Ton Tomato. It is such a beautiful slight coral orangish red red. Just beautiful on the lips.

Not over! Had a rough day yesterday and SO went, hey go pick out some makeup for me to buy you cause I know it'll make you happy. Very sweet. Now I'm not sure if I want Earthly, Meteoric, or Center of the Universe. Decisions, decisions of my first world problems.

And your light year sounds amazing! That dusty rose swirl is what really makes light year special to me. I wanted to buy a backup, but I couldn't find one with a big enough swirl for my liking.

Ahh, that is so kind & sweet! Meteoric is really really pretty. I was just sitting here thinking about ordering it too. Now I want a BU too.

I tried it out just a bit ago & its quite nice. I like how you can use the regular side to swipe the es on & then use the fluffy side to put say a highlighter/brow bone color & then blend. Very nice I thought.

Many, many posts ago, when I put up pics of my HC haul, someone asked if I could post photos of my makeup storage. I've split up my swirls now into their respective drawers, but I figured I'd take some pics before I ruin it by taking some stuff home from uni tomorrow!
Also, I may have a slight blush addiction....

Gracie, where did you get those drawers? They're so awesome! I have muji drawers but they're half the width of yours so I can fit 6 MSFs to a drawer

Well I think you have a better system than muji, for sure! I think those would be a little pricey for me, though :( I have three 5-drawer and one two-drawer mujis. I could condense the stuff into those babies, and still use the mujis for when my collection undoubtedly expands

I have however been rather naughty and been buying a LOT from the sales thread. I want almost all the permanent eye shadows so I've been going through them all buying what I want. However due to them being from sales threads it's still cheaper than buying from MAC itself. Yay!

I only picked up Light Year and Star Wonder! I'm trying hard not to make my collection so big. This is not always easy though. LOL
I'm glad you saved some money buying from the sales threads. Very smart.

Thanks - I'm looking for a new (Brand New In Package) 131 brush; it's a duo fibre blush brush from the To The Beach collection (I think).

gracie that is a great storage organizer...i think you mentioned it in another thread a while back, and i made a note to look for something along those lines. it must be nice to be able to slide open a drawer and see all your blushes out flat. i have mine stored sideways, so i'm constantly pulling them out to look at what shade they are...i spend half my time just trying to find stuff...forget about actual application!

The other day I wondered which msfs MAC has re-promoted the most.

I was also wondering if they would re-promote any from this collection in the same year like they did with Comfort and By Candlelight (that was a bit disconcerting!)

Probably Star Wonder & Light Year.

Those seem to be the most popular.

Previous msf re-promotes I can think of off the top of my head:

So Pretty! I can never get tired of the swirls! Love your Universal Appeal. You got one with a nice blob of purple to pick from. Loving that purple color. Hmmm. . . now I'm curious about Over Indulgence. Cartoon Chic (I think) said it was just like Strictly Plutonic. Is Over Indulgence a permanent color?

Thank you. I certainly looked through enough of their UAs to find the one with the most purple! And I've worn over indulgence more than anything else this week. I think it is permanent now. And thanks for the desk compliment. I have the malm dressing table that so many others have. I saw some youtubers with the pictures on top and decided to do the same.
