I got my Pixie Epoxy today, haven't tried it on my eyes yet. Also got a super pretty pigment sample with it, a grayish-taupe with pink sheen, called Te Amo.

I still love everything I got from this collection, but to be honest, I'm already more excited for Styleseeker now. I'm ready for new powder blushes.

I'm not Naynadine... But I can answer...
Pixie Epoxy and Too Faced Glitter Glue are essentially the same product by different companies. I don't have PE but I do have TFGG. I use TFGG as a primer on my lids for Pigments or Mineralized Eyeshadows... same as you would Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Urban Decay Primer Potion, a MAC Paint Pot, etc. as a primer for regular eyeshadows to give them longevity and enhance pigmentation. TFGG and PE really work well with chunkier, looser shadows to grab them and hold them on better. I have had great success with TFGG. I will try PE next, as I have heard it works great as well at a much better price! HTH

i`m not done with this collection, just I don`t have more money for it lol. I have a blush sitting in my cart, waiting for By request to add more and complete the order.
Light year, pfff seems dupable enough, one moment I want it badly next I`m sure I can dupe it with something I have.
Meteoric and Galaxy rose, i promised myself i`ll stay away from Mac glosses. I have quite a few and don`t usethem a lot. I`m a lisptick person, use gloss 1-2x month, some of them started go bad so I don`t want to add more to the pile but these 2 look beautiful and I`m torned

TFGG is definitely more tacky/sticky than the normal TFSI or UDPP primers. Since these primers are made different to grab onto loose pigment, shadows, etc. They really give a great base to grab the product. I don't personally foil my MES if I'm using the glitter glue. I'm sure you could. I just have this weird mental hang-up about doing "too much" to a products and thinking it will getting cakey or look really heavy and creapy... so I tend to avoid doing too many extra steps. It's either foil over a basic primer or dry over TFGG for me. But that's not to say you can't! Maybe someone else could give their stance on this? I will give it a try for you and see how I like it... It will be a good experiment to venture outside my quirky comfort zone....

On a side note: I recommend going to Sephora and getting a sample of TFGG before buying it, just to try it out. PE is actually cheaper and if you don't find the TFGG works the way you like, than get the PE and at least if you find that doesn't work for you either, you aren't out the extra cash that TFGG costs. It took me a good 3 tries before I tweaked the application and ended up liking it. So don't give up on it after the first try. It is different than the other primers you are probably used to, so will take a little time to learn... like any new product formula.

So i wanted to share some things with you guys. We all know that depending on what color we pick up on a product it can always be different. Well, that's also the case with primers and bases. When I wear Painterly paint pot under Magnetic Attraction the overall color turns out looking more pink. When I wear urban decay's primer potion the color turns out more coral. I swatched those for you guys so you guess can try it based on the results your looking for. I also swatched Expensive pink eyeshadow so you guys can see that although they are similar they are not the same; both in texture and color. Enjoy......

Good info- thanks! I was actually thinking that because I've heard the TFGG is tacky I wouldn't have to foil the MES. The only reason I foil is so that it lasts longer on me and doesn't flake into my eyes, but if the TFGG holds on to the particles better, then it wouldn't be an issue!

Thanks for the heads up on the formula too! I find UDPP dries down quickly but I'm guessing it won't be quite the same with PE or TFGG... it's a learning curve!

I've only used paint pots and TF Primer for e/s.

Now I just use pp - I foil the mes, then slap 'em on top of pp.

Same thing for pigments.

I'm curious about pixie epoxy. Might give it a try.

My absolute favorite mes was Play on Plums.

Since I haven't used it yet I don't know it performs. Just swatched it on my hand, and it felt a little sticky at first but not after it dried down.

Foiling is the term for using a shadow wet- use can wet your brush with water, fix plus whatever you like - the wetness makes the shadow look brighter and often more metallic or "foil" like

Thanks for this! I have been using my mineralized products with Fix+. I love the intensity of the eyeshadows wet!
