So SR is chunky sparkle? You guys think it will show up on an NC40 skin? I liked the color. I think Normstrom still has it in stock.

No, I have not posted it. I got
- all MSFs (1 BU for ES - I wanted to BU LY and CotU but they were sold out)
- all MBs (1 BU for RoS and Supernova)
- Water, Sky, MA, UA, IL, Aurora (1 BU for Water, Sky, MA, UA)
- Meteoric, Astral
- Venus, Fire Sign ( I already had Pleasureseeker and CaC)
I was trying to find better swirls but was not very lucky.

I dont think it will show up
Allura had trouble making it transfer to her skin and she is like NC20-25, just the sparkles came through. Its a shame because the color is lovely.

Someone said (maybe some years ago, not about these products) that if you want to pick up the colour (they were talking qabout MSFs which possibly were less pigmented than these days) you have to use a dense brush, if you use something like 187, you'll get the sparkle only.I dont think it will show upAllura had trouble making it transfer to her skin and she is like NC20-25, just the sparkles came through. It is indeed! I almost always wear my reds sheer so it's great! Now I'm thinking about BU CotU en Earthshine.. aargh will it ever end?! I've never BU anything from MAC but I'm so tempted! I can't believe I haven't posted my LY yet! I was on the fence about it but all the rave reviews (and an Olympics opening ceremony drinking party buzz) pushed me to finally order it. I haven't tried it yet (i've been so caught up with stalking L'Oreal Infallible Canadian shades and watching the MAC website with y'all) but it's absolutely gorgeous.
I really don't know what I was expecting (or what kind of swirls I wanted), but it's beautiful nonetheless. I'll have to try it ASAP so I can determine whether or not I'll need to order a BU before it's too late!!!
Funny story time! This arrived last night and after I opened it, I got really excited because I actually forgot that it was supposed to arrive yesterday. I showed it to my bf and we had the following convo:
BF - "So, is the ratio ok?"
ME - "The what?"
BF - "The ratio, you know, of all the different colors. Did they send you a perfect swirl?"
ME - ::speechless::
BF (while looking at LY) - "Oh, this is nice. There isn't TOO much of the gold you were afraid of. And you can pick all the different colors if you wanted to."
ME- "How do you even KNOW this?"
BF (exasperated) - "You dragged me around to find other perfect compact thing. Did you really think that I wasn't paying attention?"
Now that I've had a day to process the convo, I've decided he's a keeper, hahaha.

Even though Earthshine isn't my fav out of the bunch. I LOVE my swirls on that one. Actually. I love all.
