My final haul swatches: Pure Flash, Superwatt, Coil, Electroplate, Blacklit, Fashion Circuit. In my opinion the two stunners in this collection are Coil and Electroplate. I have a Coil BU on hold until tommorow. Superwatt and Pure Flash are beautiful, too. If I could, I'd BU all the neutrals...

THANK YOU FOR THE EXCELLENT SWATCHES!!!!! I was on the fence about all of these but thanks to your swatches and comments I'm going to nab Superwatt, Coil, and Electroplate. :eyelove:

I wish that I can use my finger to apply, but Kevin James Bennett (of In My Kit) advised MUAs not to do that as it will breed bacteria. At the counter, I like how my finger swatched these eyeshadows, but I do not like using a brush for these shadows. Application seems too transparent if I use a brush. I am wondering if there are any good alternatives to brushes and fingers. Thanks in advance!
I use a metal spatula to pick up some shadow from the pot. Then I apply that amount to my lid with my fingers. I am using my fingers to apply but not directly putting them in the shadow. If that makes any sense.

I hope you love them as much as I do! I am going to get Moth Brown, but I feel like Electroplate has that same grey/brown/purple effect that everyone talks about (at least on my skintone, nw25, it does). ETA: this was in response to Ahoythere...I thought I hit the quote button, but maybe not!

I wore Coil today. I really liked it but the whole pan fell out of the pot. The color didn't fall out. It actually stayed in the pan. I may have to get my hot glue gun out and glue the pan in the pot. I'm in search of Dynamo tomorrow.

I am in love with this formula. Wearing the light pink (can't remember the name right now) on the inner half of the lid and highly charged on the outer half. Smooth as butter, blended like a dream and has a beautiful sheen

I didn't get the light pink (lots of pinks in my drawer) but thanks for the idea of how to use my highly charged.

I couldn't get out today to search for Dynamo. Massive headache. But I put in a Mac order. Why couldn't they have Dynamo? It would have made things so much easier. I'm really tempted to get the purple one too. It looked so pretty. But I have so many purples and I'm not even a purple person.

I have worn these everyday since I got them, and Coil is my hands down favorite! I am excited to try a regular shadow and electric cool look tommorow. So far I have only worn the EC shadows by themselves.

I was just thinking the same thing. I wore Coil alone yesterday. I was wondering which regular shadows I should pair with these.

A friend of mine went to MAC to buy Coil and they did her eyes up with Coil and some shade of plum...might be an idea for some of your unused purples.

Last night, I wore Blacklit on the lids (2 thin layers, with the first layer blended outwards and upwards a bit) with Dark Dare EDES under the eyes and winged out in the outer corners. Some black liner in the water lines and voila. I love the look of this combo - these two are my two favorite black shadows. Blacklit's iridescent shimmer is perfect - not so glittery like the Chanel black one - plus it's a beetle shell iridescence, not just plain old silver or gold. I never usually back up shadows, but I think I'm going to make an exception for Blacklit. I didn't back up Dark Dare at the time, but it's still on the Mac site - I'm putting a bit of a dent in it, so maybe that'll get a BU too after all.

For the rest of the face, I used Subtle Breeze MB on the cheeks and Musky Amethyst on the lips in a light layer. It was plenty sexy!

Damn, I wore Superwatt today and it did not photograph well at all. In fact, it looks like I wear plain beige eyeshadow, not shiny at all!

Blacklit is the only black shadow I have been in love with except Clarity. It is like a creamy Clarity and makes an AWESOME base for it!
