Nothing of the Chrismas collection is talking to me, except maybe the quad and maybe the pearls.
I guess that is good.

I finally broke down and purchased the 4 seasons bronzer (always convinced myself I had too many and couldn't justify $$) .. WOWSA am I impressed. Worth EVERY penny. Love that I can mix the shades for different looks and the texture is beyond amazing!

They actually remind me very much of the Perles D'Or Meteorites (Holiday 2010?) - bottom left in my picture below:

ballz! Love the Pucci ballz!

If I am not mistaking the Meteorites pressed compact is priced at about $170. I saw it in promo materials my SA showed me months ago.

Maybe it was a typo because doesnt look super extra special or anything, it is pretty but certainly not worthy the price.

It's not a typo, that's how much the pressed Meteorites (voyage) powders cost. The compacts are the really expensive bit, the refills cost more like $50 or so. I collect them and have them all from previous releases, luckily managed to pick a few up in the sales for half the price.

So far, I'm planning on the Perles du Dragon, Lou-Ling lipstick (the burgundy one) and the quad... And after that, no one will be getting Christmas presents...

Are they very heavy?

Thank you!

I thought that the compacts would be nice for my hand bag.Better than the meteorites.I would never take these with me!
But if they are very heavy they are not really an option.

The newer ones are. The older ones not so much, but still heavier than the new cheaper compacts, the ones that look like normal face powders (iykwim).

Does that mean that the compact itself with no powder costs $120? That is crazy, unless is has some real gold or pearl or something.
Actually the mosaic design of the powder is sort of boring, I feel like it has been here so many times and many cheap brands have powders with same design. (Ph. Formula, NYC). At least it could be intricate and original for that price such as Crual Gardenia 3D powder or Terra Inca eye palette, now those are work of art.
There are also other brands which have nice metal sturdy compacts (Burberry) way more reasonably priced.

I have never seen sales on Guerlain anything or any other of the high-end brand where I live. So jealous.

Bad news is that the more I look at Perles du Dragon, the more I WANT them.

I dont know if I NEED to have 2 meteorites sets, I already have the Pucci pearls.

Do they all give same effect?

They're not that heavy, you could carry one around I guess. Think Rouge G heavy. I carry those with me sometimes.

Thank you!
