It's much more sparkly than that! There is a lot of tiny silver glitters! I'll try it tomorrow. On one of the models in a link posted a few pages back, Day Gleam was applied with what they called a "humid" brush. I'm guessing that's a slightly dampened or lightly sprayed brush. That may help it to stick better. It didn't look all that sparkly on her.

Wow. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts after you've tried it.It's much more sparkly than that! There is a lot of tiny silver glitters! I'll try it tomorrow.
If you go sparingly, and most importantly crush your piggies, you can achieve this look. Most swatches I've seen so far used far too much product, which inevitably results in a disco ball. But used in small doses, the pressed piggies are beautiful. On one of the models in a link posted a few pages back, Day Gleam was applied with what they called a "humid" brush. Awesome swatches! Thanks for posting!Hi ladies, I went to my local MAC and swatched the Pro Sculpting Creams - Here's some Swatches (They're also featured on my blog) hope everyone finds this useful in terms of establishing colours:

I'm a nc42 skintone, for me 'Pure Sculpture' was a good contouring match. I have also swatched all of the Pressed Pigments so will post them up shortly!
I only purchased the 163 brush, 1 pro sculpting cream and skipped the pressed pigments as they were way too glittery for me.
Oooh! Initial review! Please!I just, just got my boxes!

How do you crush them? If I buff it a lot on my skin, I can remove all the glitters so only a golden beige stay on my skin, but what's the point of adding the glitters to the formula if we remove them? lolIf you go sparingly, and most importantly crush your piggies, you can achieve this look. Thanks. Richly Honed will be perfect for me to contour with!Awesome pics and swatches...thank you so much DynoPupBeauty!
I really like ND and CW and start debating again on the creams...I am not sure if I would use them often enough.
That's good to know! Now I'm excited about getting it. The 167sh brush was my favorite part of my hey sailor haul.My least favorite thing is the pressed pigment. I bought Beaming. Now, glossing over this page and the last I guess Mac Guy suggested how to do w/o the glitter. I guess I'll have to go back and read that. I feel like Kesha right now. My hands and face with glitter. I didn't even use much. It's a pretty color, but wow. I thought it was shimmer and not glitter that would be in the product. It's a little rough to the touch (not a negative or a positive). The color itself looks pretty natural on me b/c it's within my skin tone. I wanted a subtle, shimmery look, so I wasn't expecting anything dramatic. However, w/ the hassle of dealing with the glitter, I guess I should've chosen the darker shade to have something to really show for the effort. Even if I find a better way to work with this, I'm not buying anymore. One is enough.
Thanks for the initial review Shontay. I didn't know the sculpting creams were supposed to be matched to MAC's foundation shades. I thought only the pressed pigments were. I'm a MAC NC50 and I thought Copper Beech would be too close to my foundation shade so I went a bit darker. They can be sheered out which is a good thing imo. I'm really kind of wanting that doggone 163 now.My least favorite thing is the pressed pigment. I bought Beaming. I did too... and I am also NC30-35! I hope I did right by switching out PS for CB in my cart before I finalized my order!! We will see tomorrow! That's when my black box arrives....Thanks DynoPupBeauty!!!
I ordered CB, hope it's not tooo dark for me. I guestimate that I'm NC30-35 . *FINGERS CROSSED*
Scratch that. I am mistaken. I was thinking of the pigments. No, the contour cream doesn't match foundation shades. I chose my CC based on the descriptions. I knew Walnut was wrong b/c it was described as Cool and RH was described as warm, but deep brown. I didn't want anything that dramatic so process of elimination told me to choose CB.Thanks for the initial review Shontay.
